This is how you make a movie trailer you just show enough to get people intrigued. All I know is they are in the middle of nowhere and bad stuff happens thats a good trailer. Hollywood needs to learn from this because they pretty much show the entire movie plot in their trailers. I mean I seriously have not wanted to see a Hollywood movie in a while because the trailers explain everything. When it comes to horror movies the less you explain the better because it makes people want to see the movie to find out. Even the commercials for mainstream movies explained the plot. Because a good movie trailer or commercial just shows enough to get people interested in it that's it it doesn't explain anything.

@@theevildead96 In English, the term for the tall branchy things corn grows on is a stalk. Stalking also refers to pursuing someone in a stealthy or threatening way. So it serves as a dual meaning for the name.

noiiceeeeee :D as a filmmaker myself, I always struggle with music/soundsFx. How do you guys solve that. Make original stuff recorded in a studio or something? Or do you use a subscription and just get the scary sounds that you want like that?
All our stuff is made in-house by our music composer and sound designer.
If you don’t know any composers or sound guys, you can try using a subscription service; but id much more recommend some online filmmaking communities. There’s people out there looking to get involved!
@@ThinkingArtEntertainment I got a couple mates who CAN do it. My problem is more technical/practical. How can I record it properly? Timing with the clips etc. I can't just hold my videomic pro against a violin, yo know what I mean.. I do have a few soundscape packages of stuff I can't make. But at least a theme or so would be great.
@@deyomash I'd be happy talk with you about the technical stuff. For this movie, the ambiances, sound effects, foley and design work was a combination of production effects recorded on set, effects from a massive library and stuff recorded in the foley pit/outside. Some of the foley was recorded to picture but most was recorded one day and editing in to the film the next.
If you want to record the violin, I'd recommend getting a contact mic like the AKG c411 and place it on the violin.
