This episode was the soup opera version of Star Wars. How is this ppropriate for children, sexualizing Star Wars? It seems to me that Disney wants to turn Star Wars into A Game of Thrones.
I wouldn't give whole series a 4/10 let alone this episode. I felt this episode was almost as cringe worthy as episode 3 and in some ways worse.
Look, I don't want to hate on this show. I love Star Wars and have been a huge fan my whole life. But Disney is losing me with this crap. I want my children to grow up and love Star Wars like I did. But I haven't let them watch the Acolyte because I had my doubts on the direction it was going. After watching this episode it is now a definite "NO".
They can watch it later when they are older if they want but for now Disney Star Wars is off limits to me and my family.

I absolutely agree it’s a bit concerning of some of the suggestive scenes in this episode, to the point I called it a bit weird, I understand that you will restrict your children until they’re older with this episode, or the series, or anything else in life for that matter. In your love of Star Wars, like mine, Wherever the story goes, is just where the story goes, I think at the end of the day, It’s a story, in any movie or book etc, repetitive storytelling or original storytelling, two ways of expression, I think it’s more the deep /soul moving /passion of life, that is lacking, but it still doesn’t hold me back, I really do wish that your love for Star Wars can go on, I suppose it’s best for all of us: The Saga Continues!

@@davidzammit7445 I watched Star Wars with my dad when I was growing up. It was he who introduced me to Star Wars but it was the story that was being told that got me hooked.
I enjoyed the originals so much that I have seen them all at least a dozen times if not more. I only wish I could have seen them on the big screen like my mom and dad did.
I did get to see all the prequels at the movie theater and I was so mesmerized by them. I was more hooked on Star Wars at that time than ever before even though they were not that well liked by my dad.
When I heard Disney bought the rights from George Lucas I was overjoyed. I just knew they would do a good job with what George had started.
Well fast forward to the end of the sequel trilogy and all that excitement had been turned off light a switch. My husband and I saw them all but only took our kids to the first two. The Last Jedi was such a huge disappointment that I wasn't even sure I could ever watch another Star Wars film again.
But you are right about the story and I was genuinely interested in what other people might add to the story of this galaxy far far away. Unfortunately, it has been hit and miss for me ever since.
I liked The Mandalorian but hated Bubba Felt and Obi Wan Kenobi. I was okay with Ashoka but not overly impressed. Same with Andor. Now onto the Acolyte and for me the story has gotten even more disappointing.
This show seems to be written more to showcase the writer's view of our world instead of a Star Wars world. But the sexualization of Star Wars which I have been seeing throughout this series is where I say "enough is enough".
I was the last hold out in my family. My husband gave up on Star Wars after TRoS and hasn't watched a single movie or episode since. I wanted to believe they would get it right and that the magic would return. Heck, isn't Disney supposed to be the magic kingdom?
But it hasn't returned and if I can't enjoy Star Wars with my children like I did with my parents then there is no story worth the effort.

Is the twist going to be double Fight Club? Both Sol and Osha has split personality syndrome and so every scene where they encounter each other both are split?

It would be absolutely great if it was split personalities, I would like to see Darth plaguis personally

Not to be a dick or anything but I think your videos could benefit from writing up at least a loose kind of script for them before filming.

Thanks, but I deliberately freestyle for the sake of my time constrained life , but you are right. Scripted is good too
