  • Fantech is batting out of the park with the Aria XD7, an easy contender for the title of the best gaming mouse of 2022. With top tier components, nice shape, great features and a budget friendly price this thing is very promising.

    Great review man! The Pulsar X2 Mini and Lamzu Atlantis were my top two choices, but good thing I discovered the Fantech Aria XD7 and decided to purchase that instead.
    The value for money is just insane!

      Thanks! I have the X2 mini as well and I really do like it, the shape just feels amazing. But the Aria hands down wins in price to value.

    Man I gotta get my hands on the Aria, still haven't done it yet.
    Hopefully Fantech will contact me one day with one.

      Haha thanks dude! Yeah it's a bomb mouse. I just bought it direct from their website, easiest place to get it right now I think. I would prefer to get it on Amazon but they can't seem to keep stock there. Fingers crossed for you to get one for review man!!!

    Man nice review. What do you think of a 20.5x10.5cm hand fingertipping this? Is it possible?

    • @GekkoTechGaming
      @GekkoTechGaming  Год назад +1

      Thanks dude! Yeah with that hand size fingertip is doable. Of course smaller would be better, but I think it would work.

    I'm on the fence for this one. I like the design and I'm a sucker for customizable tech. But currently using a Logitech G502 Hero, I don't feel like this to be an "upgrade" for me. And there's no scroll-wheel tilt on this. 😔
    Anyways, love the review and your pace! 🙌

    • @GekkoTechGaming
      @GekkoTechGaming  Год назад +1

      Well dang, thanks!! Yeah, it has wide appeal but it's a very different mouse from the G502 Hero. It's older, but way more buttons, much more feature-packed. I've been using the Basilisk v3 and for day to day stuff and productivity, it's better suited than the Aria.

      @@GekkoTechGaming yeah. I'll probably look into Razer. I just hate that Logitech cheap out on the switches.

    How would you compare its shape and size to a viper mini and a pulsar x2 mini?

    • @GekkoTechGaming
      @GekkoTechGaming  Год назад +4

      They are very different mice overall. The viper mini by comparison is very thin, but still has that height to it like the Aria but the hump is a bit more towards the rear of the mouse. The profile of the hump is more drastic though, while the aria has a less dramatic curve to it, resulting in the viper mini feeling like it has a more rounded hump. The aria's hump is kind of flatter due to the width of the mouse so it feels flatter and fills out the hand way more. The X2 mini feels wider than the viper mini since it doesn't have those middle curves, and the hump is even more towards the rear, has a more drastic curve to it, the overall profile feels lower. The x2 feels amazing as a claw grip mouse in my personal opinion. The x2 is also still thinner than the aria. It's also nearly impossible to palm even for small hands due to the low front end, where the viper mini someone with small hands could possibly palm it. Really the viper mini and x2 are more claw/fingertip designed mice, while the aria is made more as a jack-of-all-trades for potential grip styles, it just depends on your hand size. In terms of how much each fills out the hand, from least to most it's the x2, viper mini, then aria (by a long shot)

    The fact that it has bluetooth is making this mouse a perfect choice if you like to gaming and go mobile with laptop

    • @GekkoTechGaming
      @GekkoTechGaming  Год назад +1

      I used to say the Orochi v2 was the go to mobile mouse, but this definitely takes the cake, even at the higher price point. I have a review on that mouse coming out soon as well

    • @resvoire5650
      @resvoire5650 Год назад

      @user-fiendly186 I never said to game with bluetooth. What I meant that it is a hybrid mouse. You can be gaming at home using the 2.4ghz and go work using bluetooth with your laptop

    For a daily driver + gaming mouse, would you recommend the aria or the mm712 as I'm trying to decide between the two(hand size is 17x9.5)

  • @teevee_boyy
    @teevee_boyy Год назад +2

    Would you recommend this or Orochi v2 for small hands + claw grip?

    • @GekkoTechGaming
      @GekkoTechGaming  Год назад +1

      Claw grip gives a little more flexibility in mouse size, so either will do pretty well. I'd go for the Aria because of better overall quality, 3395 sensor, middle positioned sensor. But the Orochi is still a great budget pick if you get one with good qc and don't mind forward positioned sensor. I had 2 out of 2 poop out on me.

    is this better than the g304?

    • @GekkoTechGaming
      @GekkoTechGaming  Год назад

      In terms of build quality and features, it destroys the the g304. It is definitely more expensive though, and it is a wider shape compared to the g304 which is more of a subjective thing. I prefer the shape of the Aria (and Orochi v2) over the g304.
