      Many of my subscribers have now hit $100,000 Royals (on very low bankrolls) because they learned to scale-up from me. One of them also hit a $200,000 Royal. And 3 days ago, another of my subscribers hit a $100,000 Royal at Pala, my local casino. So, that’s a definitive, Yes, that scaling-up (when a machine is rolling, mind you) that incredible hits can come your way (off of very low bankrolls) while leveraging House money across the higher denominations.🙌🏻🙌🏻🌎

      @Stevep8217 I don’t think it’s so much “gut instinct” as it is proper bankroll management/visual observation when it comes to denom bouncing. If your machine is giving you multiple back to back dead hands at $5 a pop then you would drop down to either 25 cent or 50 cent denom until the machine “proves” itself worthy to raise the denom once again. The same principle would apply if the machine was giving you consistent wins, bump up the denom when the consistency is there for a chance at a great session.

    • @johnsworldofvideopoker
      @johnsworldofvideopoker  6 месяцев назад

      Thank you, for liking my videos, Susana. I do believe that playing low volatility games (which pay 10 coins on the 2 pair hand) at least, gives the player “a chance” to maintain a bankroll “long enough” to hit more Royals, more frequently, than the player having to fade the greater volatility of the other games, which also require larger bankrolls to hit those same Royals or Aces w/kickers. Also, “coining-up” and “coining-down” at the right time to grow or preserve the bankroll is very important, as well. Most importantly of all is to have that “X Factor”; which is having the “hutzpah” and audaciousness required to “take house money” and throw it away (potentially) in order to allow the “Gods of Odds” to favor the player with random and unbelievably big hits in a session. ($8,000, $20,000, $40,000, $80,000, $100,000, & $200,000) off of largely house money, and very little of their own. That small niche is ultimately where the big hits occur. It takes a lot of persistence and patience on the part of the player. I appreciate your comments. Thank you for subscribing!🙌🏻🙌🏻🌎

      Yes, this machine was rolling a bit when you put the 2 videos together. As you can see, one can only hope that the Quads that hit, would land on a higher coin denomination. But it is, what it is. Coining-up adds a whole other element of “thrill” to the games without having to resort to the higher volatility of games other than 8/5 Bonus Poker. It’s the best of both worlds!😁🙌🏻🙌🏻🌎

    Good session, some more full houses and flushes at the end to bail you out. If you aren’t getting the flushes and full houses that can make a session go downhill, even more so than not hitting your share of quads.

And I also thought, that Adam should be sax soloing over their groove! You could tour with them. You’re the missing “X” Factor that they need to blow the doors off the music scene across America! Side note: Bardot’s fruit plate with crème fraǐche, buckwheat honey, and vanilla bean, along with their breakfast, is to die for! Thanks for commenting, Adam. I’ve heard others say the same. There are 3 or 4 machines there that have excellent pay tables on every game on the machine, but they’re always occupied unless you play there early morning or late at night. They do have decent 8/5 BP at $1 coin denominations and above though. The more volatile games I stay away from. Try Durango or Palace Station on Sahara (across the freeway from Resorts world & the Wynn. Good Luck. Sorry about the train wreck. I’ve been in a few of those myself. Good luck. • @johnsworldofvideopoker
      @johnsworldofvideopoker  7 месяцев назад +1

      Yes, I was pushing it, but in the end; even if I loose the initial $175 free play that the casino gave me, getting lucky on Quads at a higher denomination can be stretched across hours of a “free play” should good hits come along. In those prolonged “free play sessions”, is where the Big Royals are found. It’s intense, at times unnerving, but I won $250,000 off of just a mere $1,000 in free play off of a couple handfuls of these type of “free play sessions”. I mine them for gold. If I lose a lot of free play sessions, so be it; it’s House money.😉🙌🏻🙌🏻🌎

    Gotta tell ya, John, I vehemently disagree with your concept of "house money". If you can cash it out and take it home, it's YOUR money. Getting risky just because you're ahead is a recipe for disaster. I only consider it "house money" if I'm running off freeplay. Once that's done, it's my money. 25+ years of video poker experience talking...

    • @johnsworldofvideopoker
      @johnsworldofvideopoker  7 месяцев назад +2

      I get it, and I agree with you, but my threshold for cashing out is at a much higher level. For example, I had $15 free play at Harrah’s SoCal and cashed-out $100. I put that House money in my wallet to be used on another outing, 3 weeks later. I returned to Harrah’s SoCal and put the $100 bill in a 7/5 Bonus Poker machine. I played it on the 50¢ coin denomination. It dealt me 4 to the Royal, I held it & hit a $2,000 Royal. That gave me $2,000 of House money to play on a $2 coin denomination. I then got on an 8/5 BP machine at the $2 coin denomination, and held a single Ace card and it dealt me 4 to the Royal to hit an $8,000 Royal. I then took Harrah’s House money, and went to Pala casino close-by. I put Harrah’s house money ($3,000 of the $10,000 that I had just won) and played for 1 hour scaling up & down the $5, $10, $20, & $25 coin denominations. It deal me 3 to the Royal, I held it & it hit a $100,000 Royal Flush on their $25 coin denomination Machine. I still had $1,175 of Harrah’s House money out of the $3,000 Harrah’s House money and I then switched to Bonus Poker Deluxe and played the $1,175 House money on the $10 coin denomination. I hit a Quad a few minutes later for 400 $10 coins for an additional $4,000. I then left the casino with about $114,000. All off of $15 free play from Harrah’s. I then invested that (along with other wins of that year) into a $200,000 pool resort backyard in order to add equity and value to my home. So I turned the $15 free play into casino House money, then took that sum and turned it into “my house” money (equity). It’s all a matter of where the player wants to draw the line. House money, becomes the player’s money, once they’ve invested that money into another asset that continues to grow.😉🌎

    • @LeftNut300
      @LeftNut300 7 месяцев назад +2

      That's quite a story - congratulations on your amazing success! However, we will have to "agree to disagree" on the concept of house money. As soon as I can cash it out, fold it and put it in my pocket, it is now MY money, won fair & square.

    • @johnsworldofvideopoker
      @johnsworldofvideopoker  7 месяцев назад

      @LeftNut300 I agree, once a player’s session is over and they leave the casino, it is no longer House money, unless of course, it is saved and later stacked upon the next free play session in order to play at a higher denomination or to fatten the bankroll for longer play. In other words, it’s no longer House money if it is used for a purpose other than gambling. One of my subscriber’s in my area here at, Pala casino, just hit a $100,000 Royal in hearts yesterday. She did it after hitting Quad 4’s w/2 kicker on a $10 coin denomination for $8,000, then used a portion of that on the $25 coin machine when a 2 to the Royal was held & hit pay dirt for the $100K.😁🙌🏻🙌🏻🌎

I also like to drop 100 in rando VP machines and play 4 spins at 5 dollar denom as I'm strolling through vegas casinos lol. Ive hit some cool sht doing that.
