Just watched the Table Talk before this, been following Cory for since his time at Stanford and he's a master at simplifying the complex and doing what is needed. Also, an engaging teacher.
That was "awesome". Thanks! I train big mountain free skiers and snowboarders. Will definitely be incorporating these movements in their off season programs
Thanks for these exercises, great options to work on those qualities without putting in additional load/stress on the system with more jumping or run-of-the-mill plyo. Much lower impact, and I like how it loads the tissues to get that nice reflex...
this is not optimal power training. You can't do KB swings powerfully. Medball throughs are also suboptimal because of energy loss through the grip. Those exrcises work for beginners but not for the advanced athlete. Jump variations are still the best lower body power builder. Do not use any weight if you want to train early RFD. Just using bodyweight and making the exercises more challenging by doing them unilateral is a great option. Single leg jumps or hops are very effective. Generally the simpler the movement the more effective it is for developing strength and power.
you can always do throw and sprint slamballs in a parking lot or a park. And take a kettlebell with you. that way you can workout outside if the weather is good. with a battle-rope you can drag the KB, or just use it as an ancor. farmer walks and so mych more :D.
The female is squatting to receive a weight that is way to much for even her to do hardstyle swings....as taught the swing is not a squat but a hinge.....kb snatches generate a ton of power and can be done in a dead stop from the floor style...same as cleans..

More of this dude, please? He is phenomenal. Thank you!
Awesome stuff. Thanks for sharing
Every gym needs kettlebells, no question. so much versatility for a single piece of equipment.
That was "awesome".
Thanks!

Kettlebell cleans, push presses, and one-arm snatches don't require jumping :).
I love that you guys just leave the silly moments in and don't do a jump cut past them
Thanks, those are definitely conscious decisions haha some we do have to jump cut
every video a knowledge bomb regardless from which guest or Sam himself. Thank you so much!
damn, your expert was nice!
This Video is stuffed with real high value content ‼️ super cool 👍🏼thanks for sharing
Great video, I superset these and plyometric step-ups as part of my GPP sessions

Great video. More of these please :)
Great. Will add this to my programming
Sick! Loved it
Could you use this as prep for the split jerk? Looks surprisingly similar and I was thinking a way to teach the movement
Would throwing bags work? I throw them over a 16’ bar
Would the „kb Feet Switch exercise“ be a good alternative to do instead of DE Squats w/ bands ?
I came here for the explosiveness. I learned about the butt touches.
Is it the same as if divebombing squats?
Can you talk about the IR and ER too, I think it's pretty ubderrated from a lifting point of view
Damn i need KBs
Great info… but the expert 😳😂
Torture in the form of kettlebells and cardio :) I may have to find some kettlebells!

What’s the weight on that blue KB?
The blue one I have is 50 pounds. I have no idea if different brands have the same color standards though
Wonder if someone could get a job with only a "kettlebell partner throwing certification"
Well, At least I can swing a KB in my apartment. Med ball throws and slams are a no go but Kb swings and catches are something I think I can do
