@@Warbirdpilot Thanks. Had a look, took photos and made notes. What is the tape wrapped around the exhaust and muffler? I'm using a DA85 with a KS Cannister. Have reflective sheet to protect the inside of the fuselage but hadn't thought of anything around the muffler. Though it would only concentrate the heat, not help dissipate it? Have photos but can't see how I can upload any.

What engine? What muffler or cannister? Sounds good.
it's a 3w 150cc inline engine with homemade muffler. Check out @chris doing rc channel for the build videos
