Per Ruggable the corners are actually weighted and you are not supposed to tuck the corners in. You lay it over the end piece and it is nicely weighted and keeps it from curling. Those having problems with curling (like I did) just untuck and voila the rug lays flat.
I have quite a few ruggables as well. I've washed them several times, and they hold up well. I'm not lucky enough to have someone help lay it down, but I roll the top rug portion into a tube, press down on one end to start, then simply unroll to the other end. Works like a charm
For some reason, I thought that the Velcro pad underneath tucked into those little corners on the top of the rug. I appreciate your video! I was getting frustrated that the corners were curling up and now they don’t thanks to the way you showed how to lay it down.
Beautiful Ruggable. I have 6 in my house at all times. Got some holiday covers to change out too. I love my Ruggables. New to them so I haven’t washed them yet.
*Love your floors & rug you picked. I like how having the extra layer makes the hang over the sides lower. Very nice!!! Those are Ceramic floors I didn't know they came looking like wood. Great Share. 🙂🙂🙂* Sharon in SC
Love your overalls!!! Did you trim the velcro pad? Mine is also 9x12 but is barely smaller than the rug and it’s SO FRUSTRATING to get it so the Velcro pad doesn’t show!
Beautiful Rug! I have about 6 of them and they are super with pets I have washed all of mine at least a couple of times. it is easiest to lay of you roll it and start in one end and brush with your hands and unroll it. I have found mine shrink a little when washed but they wash beautifully.
I’m currently trying to help my step dad with this and he’s stuck in his old ways and won’t watch this video. We’ve been trying this for the last hour and a half
OK, well that showed me what I wanted to know. I’ve used it without the backing because I couldn’t get it to be wrinkle free. Because it was so sticky.
Very cool and beautiful design/colors! BTW anyone notice the orbs flying around when the under pad was laid out? Lots of good energy in this house...🙏👏
I found the set up to be absolutely insane. Trying to get the corners of the black mat into the flaps on the backside of the rug was IMPOSSIBLE. And then the wrinkles were a nightmare. Threw mine right into the trash. No Ruggables for me
Why would you try to tuck the black mat into the rug corners when the instructions don’t say ANYWHERE to do that? Why would you blame the product for some weird configuration you made up yourself? The corners are NOT pockets for the mat to go into. At all. You’re not supposed to tuck anything into them.
Love it! I’d have to hire someone though to lay it down, no way would I be able to get up if I got down on all 4’s like that!! 😜 😝 😂 Hahaha!! Seriously!!
Great video! I have a question if anyone can help. I'm wanting to buy a 9x12 rug from ruggable but I'm moving to a different country in September (And they don't ship there). Could this be folded and put in a large suitcase? and if the backing can't be folded, do you think I could use any rug pad with this and just buy the rug top? Any advice/opinions are appreciated :)
Your rug is Beautiful! This is totally off the subject, but I'm working on my grandma's waterfall style vanity. I used tea rose, and Rozy moonshine metallic. Would you use any transfers on it since it's got a metallic finish? I've looked through many of your videos and I don't remember seeing a metallic finish with transfers . I don't want to make it look "off". I'd love your opinion! I did get gemstone mousse gold from Dixie Belle today, and I'm going to paint on some of the molding . I just want some guidance. Thanks so much for your time! I know you're a busy lady!
I just bought a tumble rug. My coffee table with wheels is pulling the rug around... Looks like your table has wheels, with the Velcro does the rug stay seated?
@@BrushedbyBrandy it is smaller, it's the 6x9. The tumble rugs don't have the Velcro just corner stickies. I'm thinking I need the Velcro to avoid this issue... I had read so many reviews about certain ruggable rugs curling on the corners that I opted for tumble... I waited over a year for them to get this size 🤦 😂

I bought my Ruggable rug 2 years ago for my dining room...love it
Good to hear, it washes well?
Helpful thank you. She’s adorable.
“Pets generally don’t go on the furniture “ she says and then cat jumps on the coffee table, lol
Meaning sofas
@@BrushedbyBrandy laugh out loud, your lucky my fur babies think if it’s good enough for me it’s good enough for them
@@dee6075 they never show interest, too independent. Prefer their beds

Pro tip: lay the rug face down, apply the velcro then flip. much easier

Oh interesting! A few months in and we really love it, got 2 more runners too
ohh thats cool! Thanks for showing us

My ferrets love tunneling between the rug and velcro pad!
How cute!

Nice this was really helpful!!!
Glad it helped!
The corners are not supposed to go into the pockets. The pockets are just to add weight to keep it from lifting up.
Very cool and beautiful design/colors! BTW anyone notice the orbs flying around when the under pad was laid out? Lots of good energy in this house...🙏👏
Oooh Yay! We built it, so any energy would be our own at least, lol
It’s like a large screensaver application
I found the set up to be absolutely insane. Trying to get the corners of the black mat into the flaps on the backside of the rug was IMPOSSIBLE. And then the wrinkles were a nightmare. Threw mine right into the trash. No Ruggables for me
The rug is not meant to have anything tucked into those corner flaps / pockets, they are weighted :)

Wow! That’s fantastic! It looks great!
I year later are you still in love with this rug? Any issues with curling edges?
Hello! I can’t seem to find the link of that rug! What is the rug called?

Why doesn’t @ruggable #ruggable roll the pads and carpet outside in so all you have to do is line up to start and then just unroll 🤷🏻♀️
Thanks for this, really helpful!

I dont do a ton of metallics, but they most definitely work with transfers
@@BrushedbyBrandy Thanks Brandy! 💗
Just set up mine. Love it. Anybody feels the noise when u walk on it kinda annoying? Or is it just me being silly😂
It settles eventually, once it has good contact
@@BrushedbyBrandy i think the noise is gone🥰🥰 i really love this rug! Both looking and quality. Thank you!
Oh to walk on bubble wrap would be heaven.
🤣🤣
Oh so the Velcro side goes on the floor? I was doing the other way round and it was so hard to align it!
No, the Velcro side does NOT go against your floor. It goes on the top so that the rug sticks to it.
Beautiful rug
How has the rug held up. I want to buy one but the reviews about fraying and curling after washing are scaring me a bit.
I love them, we ordered 2 more runners after this. I do recommend hanging dry, not putting in dryer
which one is this? Hendesi Heriz Abalone Rug?
Yes, that is it
They're weighted corners, not pockets. 👍🏼
Have you posted a update video yet? I have a 5x7 and i don’t know of a easy way to put it back on!!
the larger ones are easier with 2 people
Aww you have a Siamese that looks like my Mushu. How cute!!! Cool rug, love how it can be washed? How long is the life expectancy of the rug?
Thank you! We love him. I'm sure lifespan depends on level of use, household size, amount if washing, etc
Does it technically need the backing or can you just lay it on the floor (rug only)?
It will slide around

Interesting. Is the rug a smaller size? Our table does have wheels, it's never been an issue. We have a 9x12 rug

They're just expensive cheap rugs.
We are very happy with ours. Cheap rugs dint hold up to regular washing
These are ridiculously difficult to do; never again
Oh really! We are loving it after a year +, got 2 more
Finally got it on the Velcro by laying it on my dining room table and that was just a runner
Definitely lining it up is the toughest part
