So, we've done this before. However, it was quite short. Back into the Narrows on Lake Mojave, with a 20-minute video. The entire ride takes approx. 2 hours from start to finish (As in to and from.)

That lake is the most magnificent place that exists! By far my favorite place. Many many beautiful memories at that lake! 🙏

I spent 4.5 years growing up in Davis Dam workers housing. I don't know how many times we played at this lake! Started 1st grade in Bullhead City. It has certainly changed so much!! I understand that the houses were mostly removed (ours is still there) and turned it into an RV Park.
It is very special to my family also, 3 generations are on the lake now. These are my 13 year olds videos. We also maintain the American flag at mile marker 9. Check out my son’s video a weekend adventure and enjoy! Glad you enjoyed his videos.

Im planning a raft(motorized) trip from willow beach down to Laughlin... With your knowledge of this lake, is that a safe thing to do?... Im familiar with the winds in the Colorado lake chain. I'm interested in your opinion👍
How big is the raft?
Personally I’d check the weather forecast and stay in tune with the weather throughout the trip. The winds can come up out of nowhere and make for a challenging adventure. I would say willow beach to Cottonwood Cove would be ideal. From Cottonwood cove to Katherine’s landing would probably be the most difficult due to wind and traffic depending on the time of year. Either way with the right preparation you would have an enjoyable time. Very scenic and beautiful. Let me know what happens and if you have any questions. I believe it’s 57 miles from Willow Beach to Katherine’s landing. If you went down to the dam you can get out on the beach which is just about a mile past Katherine’s landing. Let me know how it goes!
It's an Intex Excursion 5 modified with a wood floor and 86 lb trolling motor with solar changer... Are the currents in the upper reaches strong?

From Willow Beach down I don’t think there’s a noticeable current, the scenic views are amazing. To me it’s some of the most breathtaking views I’ve ever seen. You can also go up from Willow Beach to just below Hoover Dam which is an incredible sight, I don’t believe we filmed there just pictures. I actually now am thinking about doing the same adventure with my son. I seriously would like to hear about the trip. Please share with us and please ask any questions you might have.
