  • There's been talk since 1971 of removing trailers at Cottonwood Cove inside Lake Mead National Recreation Area. So why are owners so hot, even when the deadline is almost 20 years away?

Manufactured home park in west Michigan. We would be gone. Sand mining company is shutting down. They wanted to build dock o miniums. Cut channel to lake Michigan. Flush out the 2 Lakes. DNR said no,no,no. For years. It's now been purchased by the state. Hiking/bike trails, catch/release fishing and kayak use. My home would have been prime real estate. DNR wouldn't let them build boat channel and flush into big lake. Our community would have been gone.

Mobile homes on leased land is a bad idea lot of private mobile home parks are either raising their monthly cost too high, or selling the land to developers who want to build 1M homes. All of this adds up to a cost of more homelessness in the future, and more elderly people who will be homeless.

Sadly you can own that mobile home but the land it sits on if you don't own it then you're just out of luck, if the property owner wants to off the land then you either have to move your trailer or give it to and you have absolutely no say so so buy your own land put your trailer on that or pack up and move on that's your options

If you don't own the land and the home that it sits on, you're at the mercy of the land owner. It's not uncommon for the owner of a private mobile home park sells the land to investors to develope the land, forcing mobile home owners to move out in a month or two. Is the RV park at Kantrine Cove being shutdown (further downstream)?

They removed a comment I made about Adam Schiff that I made in my honest opinion. RUclips is becoming so much more accessible and restrictive that I may have to look elsewhere for true and informative videos. I do enjoy watching a lot of videos on RUclips but RUclips is politically biased and won’t allow open dialogue if it doesn’t conform to their biased rules.
