I admire your sportsmanship when playing against BS decks. That Madoc and ST Renfri decks would have had me insta quit. I don’t know how you remain so calm! Great deck as usual. Keep it up!
BS decks?

Stolen mutagens works for self-poison with mutants. If you have two salamandra units, you can use 2 of 3 effects, self poison and five coins, with either 4 damage, or 4 boost and veil.
Always happy to see a new video
Thank you for doing an SY deck !
Spoilers:
whew, I'm glad you beat the bomb guy.
I'd love to fit Salamander in here. I know people like to play either a Nekker (I sometimes do too) or the toxic double Poison in one turn variant with Resurrection. I play it in a Jackpot deck with Roland as a finisher.
Salamander is a fun one! I wasn't running Azar in this deck though and I think you really want the Defender if you're going to rely on a Roland finisher.
Help me understand, why are cards like the tax collector and poison bronze better tossed than played against the NG madoc @ 20:20 ? Was it to deny him a bomb target? Madoc value? I'd like to understand
A few reasons, mainly revolving around denying bomb targets:
1. Giving them a target to bomb allows them to play more Sappers thinning the deck unless they want to bomb themselves
2. Saesenthesis: Blaze (a relatively common finisher in the deck) gets bigger if you play the cards and they kill them
3. If they want to push they have to discard cards as well or bomb themselves
4. Most players don't want to bomb themselves and if they have a hand full of bombs often they'll feel they're forced to pass letting you win the round sometimes with high tempo plays
Basically, if we play the cards 99% of the time no value since they'll die, upside is denying the opponent value and restricting their options, downside is there's the 1% the would've lived. Usually not playing them is better in my opinion, especially at the time you linked where we were already almost sure to lose the round. Giving an easy bomb target only helps him.
@@platinumpatrol2964 wow, that's pretty awesome match up knowledge and all around good stuff to know. I've done similar things, denying my opponent value, I just didn't see it as well and as clear as you, this is gonna change how I view madoc match ups big time. Thanks for taking a minute to explain.
No problem! When you run into a ton of bomb decks it becomes more obvious. You have to be careful about doing it since you lose so much potential value but it is a huge pain for the bomb players to deal with if you do it at a good time. @@Ryan-kb8ui
Yea i wish we would see more Raila , i mean most people don't know that she is not only in syndicate but also in NR
where can I get this commander what you have?
I believe it was from an event. It'll probably come back
No salamander?
Not this time :(
Is it just me or his game sound is messed up?
The addition of Rayla seems questionable as does the whole poison-themed orientation of the deck Isn't that just more handy to run crimes straight up instead of tinkering with poisons ?
Yes. I wanted to have some fun with something a bit different.
This precision strike and Madoc meta is so awful, I hope it gets nerfed into the ground without needing the dwarves.
I know I requested a ST deck recently, but what do you think would be the best deck to hard counter and annoy these decks?
Unitless decks hordcounter that shit. There is a tatterwing SY deck that i know , but all unitless decks are good against it. You can search it but unitless decks are not that powerful. So you will lose a lot of game if u play.
They are more annoying than strong in any capacity They can make you irate especially in the first round but other than that have pretty shoddy points
For bombs like the other comments say no unit works well. Really any deck that's not too engine focused does relatively well. Bombs are pretty bad value if the opponent isn't getting extra points from Madoc, so if you play something that can banish him it helps out quite a bit. If you just want to punish them Cyprien Wiley for example is a card they can't play around like they can Squirrel. Not to mention if you have a deck with giant point swings (Patricidal Fury Sove for example) you can just not play cards. They are forced to play incredibly sub optimally and when they pass you do your big play and win the round.
The Precision Strike deck on the other hand is just a really good deck. The biggest weakness it has is no Heatwave so Scenarios and other must kill artifacts like Mutagenerator can give it trouble. I think it's a really strong deck overall though.
Do you have any ideas for a good Ihuarraquax deck? Perhaps it would be fun against all the Renfris. Would love to see you do some quax!
I mean my personal favorite is Rience and then using his order to boost up a Mage Assassin or something the next turn. That's more of a fun strategy than a good one though. The best Ihuarraquax deck is probably Harmony since you can pull your Dana.
I like the concept of getting dana with ihuarraquax and then handboosting torque with an elven seer.
