    Hey platinum, are tou planning on making any shupe/golden nekker decks? I havent seen either in a while and would love to see you play one of them!

      Yes! I'm going to be doing a GN movement deck pretty soon. As far as Shupe, I'm not sure. There are less options for him and I've already done the NG Assimilate and Lippy decks. The Lippy one was fairly recent too, just over a month ago around when I made my last GN deck with Prism Pendant. If I come up with any neat ideas for Shupe I'll give it a shot though.

    I ended up picking vandergrifts blade over windhalm, because the ability to delete an enemy engine, or something controlling you, then using it to trigger grace or a bigger duel on the next card you play is huge. This did require me to cut a damned sorceress, but you only really need one.

    Knighthood is better than Royal Decree if you control one Knight and better than Call of the Forest if you control two. Novigradian Justice is better now that it got buffed when it works (unless your board is full of knights). It seems to be in line with the 9 prov unit tutors, unless you specifically want to buff knights not individual cards.

      I think Knighthood has a couple of issues, the biggest and most obvious of which compared to the other unit tutors being it can only play Knights.
      It also has to compete with the AA, Oneiromancy, and Lady of the Lake package pretty much every Knight deck runs. Amphibious Assault received 2 provision buffs in the Balance Council so far and more consistently gives out bigger buffs, especially to the cards you want to protect early in the round. Oneiromancy you need since missing Scenario often means you lose, and Lady of the Lake lets you find it since Knights can't really play any thinning. You can't just add Knighthood since that many provisions into consistency weakens the deck's ceiling too much. You really have to cut one of the other cards, Lady is the best option, but it's more expensive than her.
      Comparing it to the other unit tutors, Knighthood can really only be played in Knights unlike something like Call of the Forest which can be played in most ST decks and Decree which can go in almost anything. To me that means it should be better than Call of the Forest and definitely Decree since it's more limited. Unlike Call the boost is also conditional and it's worse the sooner you use it. That's an issue if you want to use your tutor to set up an engine. In Knights you want to do that a lot of the time with the only cards that really benefit from the boost being Anseis and the Grace effects - which would've usually gone off anyway if you tutored the card earlier in the round.
      For me, the biggest sign of it being too weak is that no one plays it. There are plenty of cards people discuss with me that they say are already good and don't need buffs - but if no one plays them then to me they aren't viable. Knighthood seems like one of them to me. Theoretically Knighthood can seem in line with the other tutors, but in practice it never makes it into any decks other than some fun experimentation like I did here.
      At 8p other decks might use it to tutor Anseis or Selkirk with Inspired Zeal, perhaps in Viraxas duel decks which don't see any play at the moment. That might actually let the card be playable not just in Knights, especially if those decks want devotion. NR Knight decks have all basically been the same for years now. Making Knighthood more competitive with the standard card lineup is something I'd like and hopefully give some more variety to them.
      That's just my thoughts though and it's interesting to hear other people's opinions on the cards. Thanks for taking the time to share yours!
      Side note: I was talking about Mercenary Contract - Profit 5 and Spend all your Coins, then play a unit from your deck with a provision cost up to the number of Coins spent - and not Justice. Justice is good, but Contract needing a buff is its own discussion.

    Dude, your contents are awesome... Very easy to understand.. Since I just started, could you suggest some mid range cards too? And why not suggest some alternate cards for particular decks.. Tyty

    • @platinumpatrol2964
      @platinumpatrol2964  5 месяцев назад +1

      Which faction do you want to know for? Each one has different midrange cards/packages that are good. Renfri and her Gang and unit package can make a ton of good Midrange decks.
      For alternative cards in the decks I talk about some at the end of the videos but if you're new I'm guessing you mean more options/easier to get cards. Really any cards that serve a similar purpose can be played for reasonable effective. For example if you don't have Heatwave Geralt is a fine substitute, if you don't have Knighthood Royal Decree can be an acceptable substitute, etc.

      @@platinumpatrol2964 could you do some boosting decks.. I've started the game using NR uprising deck.. Got some legendary cards like AA and temple. Not many legendary cards.. Common cards I can mill, but 800 for milling is quite expensive... Would really appreciate if you get the time to make one.. Cheers
