So glad to hear people who are educated and skeptical have real conversation about valuable information. Just so excited to see true knowledge and wisdom put forward for a change, instead of glorified infomercials about the latest fad supplements!

Does Calcium really help osteoporosis? I know so many ladies that have osteoporosis after years of calcium supplementation. I avoid calcium supplements but take magnesium and vit d3k2.

Adequate Vitamin D levels are between 30 and 40 ng/mL Anymore than that on a constant year round basis is very bad news for your arteries. A landscaper in peak season has levels about 50, so based on nature anything higher than 50 is bad except for short times of the year. Dr. Fred Kummerow explained how too much Vitamin D is bad news for your arteries. 2019 study, Effect of High-Dose Vitamin D Supplementation on Volumetric Bone Density and Bone Strength. There are people over the age of 100 with Vitamin D Levels between 15-25 ng/mL but they are still walking and talking and their bones did not crush in yet.

Adequate levels depends on where your info comes from. I’ve read you should be upwards of 100 ng/ml.
It’s funny how some of these “experts” can come up with the amount we should have but it wasn’t that many years ago they didn’t think we really needed it.
