I was too a french military pilot and instructor on this french and english helicopter. I realised lots of demonstrations like this pilot. Sorry but this man is very dangerous. The Gazelle is a civil helicopter not a aerobatics aircraft.. Have just a look at 3:54 the bladespassed very close to the tail. One of the first causes of crash on helicopter : the contact between the blades and the tail....
Not at all at 3:54 and the démonstration is ouf the limitations of AÉROSPATIALE ....i have got the very importante french aeronautics medal. So I think I can give a professionnal opinion. The Best pilot is not the pilot who present a incredible flight but this one who fly by respecting the manufacturer’s limitations given in the flight manual
@@BASH666HD Yes a tail strike is possible with a gazelle. The blade are very flexible. The rotor is not rigid. If you are interested by a french military official presentation. Have a look below. we have to respect the aerial figures. It is one of my last demonstration just before I leave the french army to become an airline pilot ruclips.net/video/a_1Eh60uNic/видео.html
@@erickflightair8714 sorry for a dumb question) applying zero collective and full back cyclic after a dive at 50knots will cause a tail strike? I’ve seen even a loop done on gazelle. Really interested in the limitations of this aircraft. Thanks
@@BASH666HD I d’au again. The Gazelle is not an helicopter build for the aerobatic flights like the extra 330 for exemple. this pilot takes risks. luckily he is alone on board. I know perfectly well this helicopter with more than 2000 flight hours and for me this pilot is Not serious. A good pilot is a pilot who will stay in Life
That engine sound just like the "Blue Thunder", cause it was a Gazelle helicopter was transformed into a Hollywood attack helicopter, before todays attack helicopters were built.
The pilot must have been watching the movie "Blue Thunder " ,followed by the television series of the same name.

👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏
Very impressive but that kind of maneuvering has almost no Tactical importance. Still, that pilot can fly better than I can ice skate...
