- Hello, I bought a desktop computer for the first time and left my patato laptop[HD 520] after 5 years. That's why I wanted to make a Benchmark video to celebrate.
AMD Radeon RX 6600 and AMD Ryzen 5 5500 are a great budget-friendly duo.
--Possible errors:
*The drops you see in the tests are mostly due to Adrenalin driver or maybe I didn't wait for the shadow cache to be fully loaded. The problem is largely solved with the Pro driver.
*I apologise for the poor quality video, especially in scenes where two tests are shown at the same time. The image is normally clear, but it has become like this due to incorrect rendering settings.
*There is some audio distortion in the video due to Shotcut's H.265_AMF bug. I tried to fix it as much as possible.
---About Video:
It took me 4 months to finish the video because it took a long time to install all the games from scratch, I probably wasted more than 2TB of internet and in total, the clips took up more than 150 GB of space (after render 7 GB). There were a few more games I wanted to add to the test but I didn't want to linger any longer for finish the video. I thought about adding the logo of the game whose test was shown to the screen during and at the beginning of the video, but this was another problem that extended the editing time.
I may have been inexperienced in editing and may have shown some games with a Turkish menu instead of English. Also, I may have left the Chrome tab open in the background during 1-2 of the tests. In the tests, it is stated which AMD Adrenalin Driver was used. I used AMD Relive for record tests, not OBS. MSI Afterburner(costomized) was used for showing the FPS.
*PCI-e 4.0 was not available. (because of CPU & motherboard)

Since this was the first and only benchmark I made, I was careless and had problems with the image and sound quality. For *more details* about the video, read the video description.
Also, the drops in the games were mostly resolved when I abandoned the Adrenalin driver and switched to the Pro driver.
fallout 76 fps issue not vram limit. adaptive vsync and amd deep sleep mode is the cause of the error.

Dude yesterday I built it with B550M Aorus elite + rx 6600 Sapphire + R5 5600X with Deepcool AK400 COOler It is a beast.

but i think there is not much of a difference of in game fps between 5600x and 5500 and the 5500 comes 5k cheaper and i think b550 is an overkill.

You could br right, but hey try version for me was cheaper. And one with boxes that come with AMD cooler was bit expensive for my liking. And motherboard B550m cost me only 100 euros so to me not overkill

I have an R5 5500 processor in AAA and FPS games, PBO is on, CBP setting is off, maximum 3.6 Ghz, 10-20 watts 1.1 volts is used in games, temperature is 55-60 degrees, with CBP on it goes up to 4.2 GHz, 30 watts 1.3 volts works at 70-77 degrees, do you think this is normal?

fps fluctuates a lot in watch dogs 2, by the way, have you tried it, it drops from 150 fps to 40, low fps, which we call 99% fps, is almost 10, sometimes even gpu usage drops, is this related to watch dogs 2?

@@Turgineer😱 Laptops are unfortunately hot, I often have 97°C on the CPU and 91°C on the GPU when I play RDR 2... Sometimes I have bluescreens 😅

Hocam GIGABYTE 23.8" G24F-2 den memnun musunuz bende alacağım sanırım 4400tl gibi indirimde ne kadardı ve MSI G244F var şu anda 300 tl daha pahalı parlaklığı az diyorlar ve ekstra özelliklisi stokta yok gözüküyor 1ms GtG olan stokta yokmuş asansörüde yok hangisi daha iyi olur
G244F'yi kendi gözümle görmedim. G24F-2 oldukça iyi ama ölü piksel riski bir tık fazla deniyor.

As I said in the video description and the pinned comment, AMD drivers are not stable.
After shooting this video, I tried the Pro driver series instead of Adrenalin and it works fine now.

If your budget is very limited, you can buy 5500, you won't regret it.
If buying the 5600 won't bother you, buy it.

I think you need better cooling for CPU. Almost 80 celsius is pretty high temperature for 5500
The stock cooler is sometimes insufficient even for the 5500.
One day I will buy a tower type cooler.

@@strelts0v I'm not knowledgeable about doing such things to the processor and I wouldn't want to do something wrong with my new computer that I bought after 5 years.
That's why it makes more sense for me to buy a new cooler.

Personally I would choose this build more than 5600 due to power consumption for CPU and GPU also because of like 3000php difference in our current market between the two CPU but most importantly by using that money to buy more storage the 5 percent just not worth it if you research about the 1% low between the 5500 and 5600 also the price of electricity in my country is expensive. Thats why I would pick this combo for frugal person like me.😂
What cpu cooler did u use?

@@johanesyongky3373 The clear answer to this question can only be given according to processor usage.
If your processor is fully used, it is normal (If you turn off PBO in the bios, your processor will be cooler). If not, bad.

Why cpu temperature is so much high in many games (72°c)
Because I'm using the stock cooler.

Fortnite runs at 60fps+ with this GPU on ultra just needs nanite and lumen to be disabled.

this gpu is good for 1440p i have 2k monitor the on high setting all games run 60 fps some of them i go medium and high texture
I don't recommend 1440p with the RX 6600. It is good for now, but 8 GB VRAM may cause problems in the future.
