The green grape is adorable :) Tbh though, I would have been happy with any colour. Very happy with my Chanel clutch. Now I just need an occasion to wear her :)

Beijing is so exciting! A feast for the eyes everywhere you look. I think Charles and Keith is sold on Zalando, pretty amazing for a Singaporean brand of PU leather bags and shoes. OMG Duanmu bags cost $7k!

Haha, Duanmu will probably be more of an “admire from afar” brand for me. Not that I’d be able to get my hands on their bags anymore, now that I’m back home. Hi Lesley, first time on your channel. Just to let you know if you tanslate gluten free in Chinese next time and you can ask the food vendors / waiters / waitresses and they will let you know. I'm not sure where you are from in Europe but you can post stuff back if luggage is an issue 😅😅. Anyways I would love to be your interpreter in your next trip to China😂😂. I have many friends in Shanghai who can show us round (I was there in 2016 but recent vlogs seems to show it has changed a lot so I want to go back and visit). Hope you had a good time 😊😊.
Thank you so much Howard :) I loved Shanghai! I am sure the city has changed a lot within the last 10 years. I was really surprised by the European influence when it comes to the architecture in some parts of Shanghai. We did a bike ride through the former French concession and at times, I almost forgot we were in a Chinese mega city! Happy to report, I managed to stay within the luggage weight restrictions. I tried asking whether things were gluten free via translation apps but often times, the answers I got didn’t make me feel overly confident that it was actually safe for me to eat. Either way, I am so glad I didn’t let me being celiac stop me from traveling to China!
@LesleyAdina wonderful. I know you like your high end things. I would suggest that you try going to Chengdu too. It's more laid back and there are nice cafes too I believe and bike hires. I'm planning to go to Chongqing with a German girl friend and her Portuguese boyfriend because he wants to try the crazy hotpot there...I haven't been there and I will be their interpreter / translator. Anyways glad you had a good time and I look forward to seeing the rest of your vlogs in China 😊😊.
Thank you :) Would have loved to visit Chengdu, also for the Pandas! Maybe next time. We did go to Chongqing as well, but only spent a couple of hours in the city before we boarded a Yangzi River cruise, downstream to Yichang. In total, I think there will be around 12 vlogs from China ;)
