The food looked delicious! The shrimp dish is similar to a chinese dish call superior shrimp but without the special sauce. The salad reminded me of a Thai papaya salad. Never had Burmese food but will try someday.
Thai and Myanmar are neighbor countries and we have so many in common but mostly Thai food are sweet and spicy but Burma/myanmar food are mixed of spices and flavors some are like India and some are like Chinese I think we’re in between 😅
That meal looked magnificent and reminded me of some of the dishes I had when I was in Bangkok years ago. Burma is right next to Thailand, so it's not surprising the food is similar. I remember a Thai salad of shrimp, cucumbers, mint leaves, and walnuts. Thanks for posting this!
The salad and shrimp looked especially good. I'm sure the lamb dish was too but I can't eat lamb 🐑because they are too cute, or eel because they are too creepy! lol 🧚♀
Im from Burma and the world does not know us because we live between India China and Thailand.
This video made me so happy 😊
Great choice! My local friend living in SF took me here - her favorite Burmese place there.

What would be the cost of all the items on your table? $125? Curious if you ate it all. ;/)
$69.16 was the subtotal
That walnut shrimp is not actually Burmese food
❤
