I bought this and I love the idea of it being a standalone game, and I kind of thought what could go wrong like scaling? And then I remembered this is gearbox. Disappointing but still fun.
The loot catapult has gotten me a whole bunch of loot. A hellfire, bigg thumprr, invader, pitchfork, hammer buster, bee and probably more that I’m forgetting. That’s probably the key to getting the gear with no dedicated source
It's one of the things that seem to be bugged to not drop. There's an item on there as well called the Boom Boom which is also seems to be bugged. Either that or gearbox hasn't even created them lol
man seeing that the scaling doesnt work really turned me off this game. I kinda wanted to buy it even though i already played the dlc back in bl2, but if the scaling doesnt work ill pass
Best bet is to just spam the loot a pult for gear scaled to your lvl also looks like all of the loot can drop there Not sure if the 2 catapults have different gear tho but if you have the eridium I reccomend spending it there and seeing what pops up I managed to find a bee and a couple grenades I don't see on that list from it
The lack of scaling is so annoying, there's hardly any point in farming for anything if none of it's gonna be your level and all the enemies are underlevelled too
Anyone got the lady fist from handsome sorcerer's daughter? Farmed her for a couple of hours got a slagga, two heart breakers and two bouncing bonnies but no lady fist. Edit: finally got it after 100+ kills.
I don't understand why this isn't in some way tied to BL3 or Wonderlands. Like give me some gear/cosmetics in BL3 or something for finishing this DLC. Or maybe let me get some gear I can transfer to Wonderlands later. Having this game as sort of marketing is fine, but if they tied it to any of the other games it would be way more effective.

Of course I bought the game right away but I was really hoping they were gonna tie it to BL3somehow....maybe they could've had an extractor like in arms race....I know, something like that is a huge ask for a $10 stand-alone....lol. It's awesome they added so many guns to farm....buuuuuut, without anything else to do but this lone DLC...almost no point...and all I do is farm my balls off in BLs so saying that is tough. Like I said tho, it's just a $10 game and they are already giving us way more than our moneys worth.
@@metallicnole4514 The DLC is more geared towards people who haven't played it and don't own the reg game, this way they could possibly have interest in Wonderlands. If you really wanna play it and not have to pay for it then load it up and play your old version.
@@Meyhem33 Yeah I just wish there was more incentives for it. Such as bonus for wonderlands similar to TPS when you had a sav from bl2. I like the idea of it being standalone being able to replay the dlc without having to reset my playthroughs

Just spam the lootapult. That's where I got my level 35 big thumper. But I've had the lootapult drop up to 3 legendaries in a single shot. A good way to notice if it gave you legendaries is when the chest launches loot all over tbe area, and occasionally off the ledge. So ya, when it scatters, it matters!
I just got it today due to PS Plus and a new gun I have found is called the Cluster Fun, If my eyes aren't deceiving me this gun was suppose to be in the base Borderlands but was scrapped and was re-added to this expansion. It's mediocre from what I can tell

Does the hide of terramorphius still drop off of the last boss? I've farmed so many times for it I've lost hope and went to farming loot a pults. If it's dropped from either location for you can you confirm please. Edit: I got it to drop at lvl 28 and my lvl 32 big thumper is significantly better. Still farming lootapult for a 35 one but im able to melee zero the dragons so farming 500 eridium is all of 5 kills and the chest room. Only class I see the hide being better than thumper would be Krieg with far right talent tree.
The creeper one shots Mr Boney pants guy, fire a single round and throw your weapon at him,typically aiming chest up does the trick, this is still @lvl6 with 72dmg. Keeping it updated with scaling etc
I'm having horrible drop rates. Running bosses over and over and not getting anything. Also no scaling in tvhm up to max level? Lazy crap I'm glad I didn't pay for it and it was free on epic
You can get most of this stuff like the big thumper from the 10 eridium crates that go to lvl 35 like I've got one and it allows my phyco to do just under 1.5m damage and all but insta kill the dragons in the boss fight

I got a Veruc from the sorcorer's daughter and i read on the wiki it has an increased chance to drop from her so its kind of in her loot pool but wasnt in the list at the beggining of the video.

The new shields are unlikely a reference, just a coincidence. Kite shields were a real type of shield used during the 1000s, particularly by the Normans. Honestly, I was hoping for more, but I got it for free and I love the DLC so... eh. It's fun to revisit it.
I've gotten two hides of terramorphus shields back to back from jack when I was playing through the oneshot. I didn't really realize that getting the shield could be super rare.
When I heared about the the kite shield it reminded me of kiting an enemy. It does suck when a enemy is kiting you when you are trying to melee them. They love putting multiple references on one piece of gear so your unsure if it could mean this or that or all of them together. "nobody knows"

The effect of the shield seems very similar kiting, I could be wrong though, we all could be right or wrong at the same time. Only gearbox truely knows.

I farmed the kings for the northfleet and the only things if got was 6 bigg thumper, 7 skullmashers and 4 teeth of terras, either i got no luck or its bugge
I did find a Bigg Thumppr w/ the same basic stats as shown in 2:28. Unfortunately about five minutes later I found a corrosive spike shield with twice the shield capacity! 156 vs. 345?
I got a dahl smg called the stoic emperor after farming the handsome sorcerer for a while. Didn't see that listed, saw comments mentioning the bee shield, got a few of those also
Didn’t get the standalone but all of this coverage makes me wanna go back to Handsome Collection. There’s some bosses I have yet to solo on OP10 and I have never invested time into the other Vault Hunters (mostly mained Sal and Maya). Might start a Krieg or Axton playthrough I always put off.

Wife and I picked up a Rapid Infinity off a random Chubby on the first map.
I got the longbow sniper from the handsome sorcerer so it has more drops then only the terramorphous

A level 35 Thumper from the lootapult is super OP it does I've 48k of roid damage. I've got 3 of them so far including an inflammable version.

I got a dahl smg called the stoic emperor after farming the handsome sorcerer for a while. Didn't see that listed, saw comments mentioning the bee shield, got a few of those also

Didn’t get the standalone but all of this coverage makes me wanna go back to Handsome Collection. There’s some bosses I have yet to solo on OP10 and I have never invested time into the other Vault Hunters (mostly mained Sal and Maya). Might start a Krieg or Axton playthrough I always put off.
I o Lu had 4 legendary but I have a Grenade to the alter and only got money sucks

@@dagingerlord yes it was but that doesn't matter let's say you're making a product shoes for example you have a new style of shoe coming out and in order to promoted you contract a company to remake you most popular shoe so they do that you okay it and it gets released people buy it only to find out when they put their foot in the shoe the soul rips out of it those people are not going to go and buy your new shoe design my point being if you're going to make a product you need it to be a quality product whether it's you or somebody you've contracted to make it otherwise it's going to make you and your brand look bad I don't think we're at that point quite yet but it concerns me
