1/2 is also 13mm

Its not the exact same. 13 mm is slightly larger than 1/2. If a 13mm is used on a very tight 1/2 hex fastener, I have learned that it can round it over.

12.7 mm, but close enough in most cases.

Alright so question, I know a lot of people say that Chinese turbos can’t be upgraded or modded simply because aftermarket compressor wheels don’t match up. My question is, do you feel it’s of quality or even worth an upgrade? Just out of curiosity

I bought a Max GT2860 it blocked as soon as it spooled up so I took it apart and it was full of small metal shavings from fabrication...

You would be surprised how many of the "big brand" turbos have a lot of components made in China.
