- Torment of Destiny” is the thirteenth episode of Star Trek New Voyages and is written by Rick Chambers. This episode is a sequel to the original series episode “For the World is Hollow and I Have Touched the Sky”. This is a very rough copy as it was never fully completed! Many special effects are noticeably missing as well as background noise but this is the most complete version known to exist.
Rivkah Raven Wood guest stars as Natira, the High Priestess of Yonada, Clay Sayre as President Ro’Kail, Rebecca Larken as To’Rya, and special guest star Richard Hatch (Captain Apollo from the original Battlestar Galactica) as Orthros. The crew painstakingly recreated the Oracle Room set from the original episode. Natira’s wig and dress were also recreated to near perfection.
Production of this episode began July 10th and ended July 24th 2015

How come nobody at Paramount saw this when they were trying to decide to make Star Trek a movie or an updated TV show this follows whatever adventures that they could recreate absolutely fantastic please do more🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
Paramount has been too busy filing cease and desist orders against fan film productions.
This was absolutely amazing- even unfinished, etc. First class. Sure it is a Fan Film but one that displays passion, dedication and commitment. Well done all!
Thank you for posting this! I'd rather have this in its unfinished state than not at all. I was really curious about this episode when I saw the trailer.

hmm hmm very soon it might be CBS alone since Paramount is in the process of a possible Aquisition ownership deal atm by some new business owners atm leaving CBS to do what u claim as true trek eppisode hunting alone.

Great to finally see this. Cawley productions really had hit their stride quality wise with Mindsifter, The Holiest Thing and Torment of Destiny. Shame CBS shut them down (thanks a bunch Axanar). Wonder how much of Blood and Savagery was ever shot?

James and then Vic renewed interest in TOS, and CBS was fine to look the other way as they didn't cash in....but added interest for new audiences to stream the original episodes... who's audience had been fading since 2000.
Axinar and Renegades projects went into SAG salaries and profit without ownership of the trademark. It spoiled the 10 years of improved fan films that emerged around 2006.
As it is without profit incentive, even when the court orders lifted, the Axinar never did much. We got the Discovery Klingon war instead. Tales from the Neutral Zone however did continue production and still do.
