Imagine if gravity became lower on earth, land-dwelling animals would have issues generally (human eyes get damaged from 0g, which is by the way why space travel is not as simple as some think), but a lot of marine life like this would not suffer from it, but instead would be ble to fly for longer distances! Deeper ocean dwellers would have pretty serious issues though, probably many species would seize to exist if the change is fairly rapid.

Never seen this before! Super cool! Loved seeing one devil ray doing a backflip in the air before getting back into the water! The other day, I watched flying fish on RUclips! Swim underwater and then they fly into the skies! So incredible!

I imagine this is how birds eventually developed the ability to fly. If this creature develops the ability to fly in a couple million years, it would be some scary and weird shit.

+DynamicUnreal So, the birds which dive for enjoy or catching fish will develop themselves to became fishes with a plumage :D are you serious?

+Mahmoud Serag if the rays figure out more efficient food gathering method in these short jumps they will evolve to make longer and longer jumps until they're as good as flying fishes already are.

Now that is interesting! Wonder how they can handle such a hard landing from a belly flop like that. And it probably would be much worse for any hapless remora fish that happened to be hitching a ride.
