Too bad none of the "big 3" brands would badge engineer a Jimny for the US market. Don't even know what they'd call it, without reusing an old model that was never on a small SUV to begin with.

The Rogue is called X-Trail outside of Canada and the US
@@albert_gyorgy they sold the first generation of the Nissan X-Trail in Canada, even offered it with a proper 5 speed manual transmission too, it was replaced when the Rouge came out officially in 2007, fun fact about the X-trail Canadian version, in 2006 they offered it in a Bonavista Edition, with special options, and colours, and unique badging, it's one of the very few "special versions" of the X-trail Nissan offered.
