@@joyofthings Oh dear , l can remember the mess when the chimney sweep used to come, he had to cover everything. Hopefully the bird somehow got out . At least you're heart's in the right place.
Hi oh yes definitely go for it I am currently on a virus shawl but need a pattern for a easy sun hat as mine has had it after many years its all faded now Hats are always a challenge for me ....

I did make one sun hat that used wire but didnt get on with it Think I will make a basic one this time
