The yam and white potato with a slice of turnip and leek is fantastic for diarrhea. Clears up diarrhea very quickly. It's not feeding the dog a whole onion. It's only a slice. This recipe I used to save my cat with chronic diarrhea. Nothing from the non holistic vet worked. After one serving of this the diarrhea was 80% gone. Cats should not have onions either but this was chronic diarrhea and a cat in horrible condition. It works.
I got Dr. Marty"s cat food for my 16 year old kitty. I gave him four pieces of it and he loved it! And five minutes later he threw it up. Today I mixed two pieces it in with his regular food and he vomited that too! I will be returning it all on Monday and a return of my money. I've been feeding him Hill's Science Diet Cat Food for 15 years which all the people like Dr. Marty says is bad for my kitty. My cat has never had a sick day in his life! When I took him in to the vet last year for his shots the vet said he has never seen a 15 year old cat with perfect teeth! On top of that at one year old he weighed 9 pounds and today at 16 he still weighs 9 pounds!

True, though ours have eaten onion that jumped off the cutting board countless times. I try to be careful but accidents will happen, and in our kitchen the dogs are always around our ankles. Be concerned and go out of your way to avoid it, but unless the dog gets more than a little, in our own experience over the years, it will show no ill effects.

If you feed vegetables whether cooked or raw I guess especially raw if they arbor ground finely your dog will not digest them. Especially carrots. I just make sure to give my dogs 30% protein and all different colors of vegetables and fruit. Not a lot of fruit unfortunately they don't like it much. I'll put a finely ground egg shell in their dinner unless they are having liver that night. They love love liver and it's inexpensive. Do your research. I tend to watch mostly get instructions and use judgement with the rest. Oh and chicken liver is cheap too but it stinks up your whole house so I stopped buying it and just use need liver. I do sear it in skillet but you can cook it in microwave or feed it raw. I just like my dogs,food to not be cold.

Every French bulldog I've met has aggression issues,it's because of inbreeding! Why anyone would want one of those inbred,unhealthy,mean little dogs is beyond me. They may be friendly with people,mostly,but with other dogs they're usually terrible. All the inbreeding makes them unstable and brain damaged.

My dogs love boiled yams, carrots, celery, and equal parts meat. I use chicken, when it's done I mash it and add a tablespoon of coconut oil.

Aloe plant has a toxic layer for humans...is it not toxic to pets? Or is only the aloe GEL ok?

Every French bulldog I've met has aggression issues,it's because of inbreeding! Why anyone would want one of those inbred,unhealthy,mean little dogs is beyond me. They may be friendly with people,mostly,but with other dogs they're usually terrible. All the inbreeding makes them unstable and brain damaged.

No, Karen, I socialize and train my dogs as soon as I get them. People with larger dogs can’t get away with no training because it’s perceived as more dangerous; but oh god the amount of untrained smaller dogs I’ve seen is awful. Honestly, at the dog park it’s the smaller dogs I’m more nervous around. Got bitten by a miniature poodle once on the ankle and I didn’t even look at it.
Thinking that it’s because of “inbreeding” is stupid and the same argument people that fear “vicious” pit bulls or Rottweilers use.
