I'm a little confused. What's wrong with "orbitals"? Why did you dump the supplies after stating in the intro that you didn't have enough supplies for a prolonged battle? I can understand trolling, but why act like "parallels" are inherently better than "orbitals" when both are just different methods of keeping the enemy ship in your broadside? Broadsides are broadsides, why be picky?
I took pretty much all of season 8 to come up with a strategy that uses my opponents aggression against them it works pretty well since they can't think straight when I use it. Patience and time is all I need since pretty much no one in hourglass is ready for the long game anymore always win in 10 minutes or less when that doesn't work they lose it.
One of the best pieces i got for videogame pvp came from a Super Smash Bros player but it applies to everything Dont let your opponent play their game, they are better at playing their game Get them to play your game, you are better at playing your game I think that this shows really well here
how do you do the sword lunge without having that breather reset thing? like idk how to explain it but u look so fluid and loose and when i do a jump lunge i stop moving for a sec and my charcater like huffs
When fighting in naval there is 2 type of side to side, parellels when both boat go in the same direction, and orbital when both boat rotate in opposite direction It's more common to play orbital, mostly player who do parallels are troller or shitty helm (in EU)

Orbital cannons are easier to hit, hitreg is bad either way. Chain shots to the wheel in orbitals are worse than in a parallel, gives the helm more time to snipe and give pressure than just sitting repping wheel every 4 seconds.
Parallel is way less fun for most people , you also run out of bounds fairly quickly. On the other side if you are on open seas orbital is completely fine : helm can pretty much keep an infinite angle exept if you loose sails. Hops that help :)
Our previous encounter was similar to this, and we knew they had a lot of chains. One way to avoid that situation we didn't want to be in was to deny them their playstyle.

They wanted an orbital because they couldn’t aim a shot if the boat wasn’t carrying itself into it. Taking the parallel forces then to actually aim, and if you watched the beginning the enemy had the upper hand on supplies and they didn’t want to give them a free chain spam.
brother idk if u played this game before but orbitals take more skill then parallels. for example in a parallel all you have to do is shoot straight at cannon line because u are going the same speed also with snipes which are very important its the same. in an orbital u have to lead cannons and snipes which is much harder. @@Kittenspreee

It's all fun and games.. and the other sloop refused to do anything but orbit. Even in the previous match they had with them (not included in the video but I was there watching). Why not have fun with the fight vs force a boring repeat fight. Plus they had an absorbent amount of chains and supplies which is what it would come down to in an orbital. Two sloops.. demasted.. side by side is the the only thing that happens in that situation. @@boooooooga
