- In the second-to-last episode in our trip to Greece, Tracey and Jan visit Vergina which is the former capitol of ancient Macedon and final resting place of Philip II, father of Alexander the Great.
First discovered in 1977, much of the archeological site laid undisturbed for 2300 years--allowing us to gaze upon the treasures of the king who united Classical Greece.
Also in this trip was a visit to Saint Paul's Tribune where, according to tradition, Saint Paul is said to have spoken to the people of nearby Veria in 56 and 57 AD.
Funtastic place 👍 we were there last week and in Pella, birthplace of Alexander 👍
Thanks for watching. We might be at Pella next month!
