    1) play in time
    2) play in tune
    3) be receptive
That’s what i was told years ago when i first started doing sessions

Imposter syndrome is a real thing. Couldn’t agree more with that line towards the end “know your limits but know when to push your limits.” You’ll never grow if you’re always comfortable! Great video man!

It definitely is. Growth is the key to longevity in any field, and if you’re only doing what you know you’ll either get bored or become irrelevant. Thanks for watching dude 👊🏻

Really interesting video and great playing man! I'm a sucker for vintage amps and your '67 DR is beautiful. I got an original '65 DR last year that I'll be buried with lol. Probably my all time favorite amp. I'd also highly recommend the Studio Slips clamshell case for your DR, if you're looking for a great protective case that's less bulky than a flight case

Thanks so much man! Really appreciate that.
I’ve looked into those and the Cully Craft covers - definitely need to get a better one soon. I just have an old vinyl cover right now 😅

I’ve heard that some recording musicians prefer using an SG over a Les Paul since it’s got a similar tone without it being quite as muddy in the mix. Have you ever had issues in the final product using a Les Paul or tried using an SG in the studio before?

Great tip! This is actually a borrowed Les Paul - I typically prefer an ES-339/335 for the same reason. That said, I have a new guitar coming this week that will fit the bill 😎
