Thos turtle set kicks ass i the the 4 pack colorless turtles and these separately. Im getting these custom painted from some guy i saw in ig. I swapped the ralph head with yelling expression for the one that comes the motor bike.
The metal shell, accessories, and articulation put Donny way above the other three imo. I can’t stand the articulation on Leo and his hands are way to tight to grip those toothpick swords. I passed on the other two solely because they looked very odd to me, but Donny is def the best loyal subjects tmnt fig, imo. He has awesome details. Great Review !
Omg i’ve had the action figures forever and I had no idea the arms could go up like that. Well, my mind explode I was about to buy new neca tmnt action figures you just saved my money
All these are better outbthe package. I never liked em and always just walked by past them. I took a gamble with ralph liked it with all it's accessories. Then i got the ralph and motorcycle set i sawpped the opened mouth angry head out and placed it with the standard figure and boy it looks beast with him on bike, chinese star belt on chest, left arm holding the a star as hes going to throw it and right arm holding a sai aiming at you. Leo and donnie are now part of my collection and have no regrets. Mike is the only one im missing. And like most i agree that he's too blue
Even though I liked the design of these figures, I thought their height, especially Raphael's, was disproportionate. In Santoloco's comics he is smaller than Don and Leo, but here he became a brute.
I wish Donnie and Mikey had some serious but not like screaming faces like leo and raph, and I was Mikey had another normal face that was just him smiling and not winking
Ralph is also my least favorite since watching the show when I was little. Leo is my favorite, then Mikey is the one I always use on video games, since he is very fast
Hey i have a question abt these figures so i have all of them and there great but mikeys hands are so tight i cant get the chucks in any idea how to fix or help?
They are good! Not great. IDW specific in their look and design. Some flaws with details like Mikeys 'chucks: 1) shudda been poseable wire and 2) they don't fit into his pouches. My Raphs head snapped off at the peg and broke when I merely tried swapping the heads!! Got a free replacement and got him repaired by a professional. Fun to play with. They look great! They fit in well with other lines of the same scale. Nice amount of accessories. Good price. You seem to have the versions without the extra paint applications. Those ones look even better! Got mine from The Loyal Subjects booth at SDCC 2023, signed by Mateus Santolouco, an artist on the IDW TMNT series and assistant with the design of these figures!
I got Leo simply for looking the best. though I really wanted Donny. he is my favorite too. I don't know if I will get Ralph. maybe. I'm not getting Mikey. Honestly, Leo looks cool with the Jada street fighter. Maybe I'll just have him and Don and say the other two are dead. Leo is a very close second to Donny. People often pick Raph cause he is the angry-tempered one. Mikey cause he is funny. But Leo can technically fight solo. He takes being a Ninja very deep. He trains the hardest, he plans things out. He is the best fighter. I love Leo. Donnie....well he is a nerd and a genius. But eh,,,I read IDW and stopped halfway threw the mutant town thing. I still think the Mirage Comics universe is better. There were Ideas the IDW series had that were cool. But then it got weird. It didn't feel like turtles anymore. Not to me.
Probably my favorite set of TMNT next to the movie set just because I love the game mutants in Manhattan so much I want the whole set but could only find raph who is my favorite turtle great review though

The feet articulation could be better but they still pose well and they look amazing and double joints are amazing.

Fun fact donnys shell is metal because this version of him is a soft shell turtle it's utilized more in the newer animated tmnt but still bad ass

Just try and heat them up before trying to put the chucks in them. Should help!
One of Leo’s swords broke on me by merely trying to put it on his hands. Be careful with the soft swords.
