    Hi Dave, first I just wanted to say I love your videos! I can’t tell you how many times I’ve listened to your intro on this video alone. Furthermore, it inspired me to order a Barbanera too.
    Quick question though, what polarity does the Barbanera run on? I know the MF 101 uses a positive tip power supply, does the Barbanera run on the same, or does it take a center negative tip?
    Thank you for all you do and the amazing art you bring to the world!

      Take original schematic (not this one but the one which they ''borrowed'' so it is not stilling) sent it to PCB producers locally or in Asia pay max 10$ for PCB + parts buy box for some 4$ and solder 2-3 hours and save 280$. You can make PCB old school super easy or solder on Stripboard like that you will save even more. Sounds good? if not well then spent 300$ ☺. PS to solder it in case you don't have soldering iron, multimetar etc no need to spent more then 20$ on all of those and it will last for years. If kids in school for a projects can solder then you can do it to, it is super easy. 300$ for pedal i hope it wash cloth and make sandwiches.

    • @sisajtegabre
      @sisajtegabre 5 лет назад

      @@Timon898 welcome, i like to share those infos depending from my mood ☺. Believe me no way i would also pay 300$ for any pedal, maybe only for some historical for example that it belonged to let say my teenage guitar Idol and person have all proves - documents. But for usual pedals on market no way, IMHO top line is 50 Pounds or euros that is a bit over 50$ , anything above that is marketing bla bla bla. I can understand price for let say digital processors but to pay for envelope - LFO modulated filter pedal 300$ ☺☺☺ no way. that is toy. You can find MOOG Phatty 25-Key Analog Synthesizer for double that price around 600$ NEW! And We talk about brand that have 50 years reputation as the best analog synth in the world! so to pay for 1/10 000 of Moog 25 abilities pedal 300$ sure seems like ''good'' deal ☺. Not to mention that there are similar pedals who do job better and cost under 50$. that is how crazy that pedal industry became.

    • @sisajtegabre
      @sisajtegabre 5 лет назад

      @@Timon898 if you search for same or beter pedal will gladly recommend you some cheep but killer...by the way there is brand Arturia similar to Moog only France and their analog killer synth cost like 290$ ☺☺for home recording or gigs can do so much more then that 300$ pedal...OR get good processor and kill them all ☺.
      cheers www.sweetwater.com/store/detail/MicroBrute--arturia-microbrute-analog-synthesizer

    Bored, are you kidding. Dave, I would suggest that Film Students should get there hands on that pedal. Those sounds that you made were straight out of 1950’s / 1960’s Sci-Fi films. One major one springs to mind but I won’t say it’s name, let’s just say Leslie Neilson had a major roll as well as a well known walking talking robot.
    Cool demo as ever Dave. 👍🏻

    Dave, time to mount some of your pedals on top of a pedestal for easier hand control, leaving those that only require a stomp or an occasional know twisting to remain in the floor pedal board. Else you have become a Shoegazer!
    BTW, have you noticed that you spent a lot of time using the synthesizer (that's what it is). So you played guitar and manned a synth control board. Welcome to the Acid Rock world from the late 1960's. I was 19 in 1969----I was there! -Peter
    P.S. Dave, your demo here, is better than the Official Triungulo Labs Barbanera Video on their own sight! Go figure.
