Again, thank you for showing us this. I got one today (07-07-2021 Wed), because my local costco sold out of it ... and, it scared me. So, I drove 30 minutes to another one where I'd be assured to get one. I got the red one, but I wish I had your color. I got mine for $599, and they weren't on-sale like some people said. But, I'm so happy that I got it. I can't wait to start cooking with it. It'll take me a while to assemble it, because I'm a little disabled now. But, I hope I can figure a way to get it from the car onto that pedestal. But, you helped me to see how to assemble it. I plan to watch this video again. Again, thanks for all you do for the rest of us in the RUclips Community.

How do you like this grill, I just bought the Louisiana one from Costco, it’s exactly the same. Do you have any issues where the grates sit weird on the deflector plate?

I found the Lump Charcoal grill. At Tractor Supply. A little expensive, but I wanted it. Can't wait to try it. Thanks so much.

The best I have found is called Fogo Charcoal. You can order online, and shipped right to your door. This brand has a lot of big chunks.

The best i found was Jealous Devil........A little more expensive but i find that it burns longer and its easier to maintain the heat.

directions calls for 250 and a handful.. I didn't do that, but did about 1/4 what you loaded, and let it burn completely out. I was able to maintain 200-250 for ~ 6-7 hours easy. Saw a great video on tips. I leave mine almost closed on top, and try to change the temp from the bottom. I got the 24" from Costco. Good BBQ's

Steve Klise I just got the K24 from Costco and I’m having problems maintaining 250 I want to be able to do overnight cooks without checking every 10 minutes. I’ve realized how fast these thing can spike

mike millican once your temp gets up to ~200 shut the bottom almost 1/2 the circle and a sliver open on top. Almost closed. Get a Webber Bluetooth thermometer. The gauge on that Kamado is slow to settle to actual temp. Search RUclips for kamado tips. A dude did a 45m video on it.

We watched it once again, because I gotta get my wife to help me. You really did a good job of showing how to do this. I'll let you know when I've got it assembled. Hey, did you think about getting a "Charcoal Ash Basket". I'd give you a link to Amazon the fair-priced one that I got. Search something like this ... "ZBXFCSH 13.5 inch Charcoal Ash Basket Fits for Large Big Green Egg Grill, Kamado Joe Classic, Pit Boss, Louisiana Grills,Primo Kamado Grill and Large BGE". I have not put it in my grill yet, because I still got the damned thing in back of my car. But, this will help you save the charcoal, is what lot of people on YT have said. And, it gives more air for the charcoal to burn better. Maybe you should get one. Also, I'll tell you how mine works, once I get my thing put together. It's 7pm on 7-10-2021, so we might go out and try assembling it tonight or tomorrow morning. It's been raining here and in my car now for 3 or 4 days, so I've got to get it out to do recycleables and buy groceries. But, yeah, I've very excited. But, the thing is a BF heavy monster.
