I love how throughout the video we see little parts of his daily life and personality poking in, more so than the voiceovers. It makes it seem very personal and I enjoyed it a lot.

We had the exact same idea during the same video. I was thinking endermen when he talked about him looking like Coraline's dad.
Am watching this while I'm in hospital with a broken ankle, so these longer more chatty videos have been really good to pass the time.

Many of my proud moments include convincing British people that I'm British when I'm bartending or on discord.
It always falls apart when they ask what region I'm from... "Londonburg-liverpoolstead" never works. XD
the coolest part of having artistic talent like that is you get to make yourself. as an artist myself i think its really cool to see how youd look in your own little world.

I’m binge watching your videos while my 1 year old son naps. I’m literally in awe of your work! You are so insanely talented. When I’m not “napping” my craft of choice is to make decor, shirts, trinkets and so much more with my cricut! I love crafting my own home decor items. There is nothing narcissistic about being so pleased with a sculpture of yourself! Any artist knows that capturing their own image is a gargantuan challenge, regardless of the medium. Being satisfied with the results, especially on the first go is a huge accomplishment!

@@HollysHooks That sounds really cool. I do a fair bit of my crocheting improvised too... which is actually kind of unfortunate if I ever want to make a second copy of anything >_
@@draughtoflethe I also write patterns, so OCCASIONALLY I’ll write down what I did to make duplicates easier. Otherwise, I fake it til I make it. 😎

I honestly love it when artists make self portraits/ sculptures etc. because you really see their artist style and passion for what they do, you also get a bit of an insight of how they view themselves😍

For learning purposes, I like the voiceovers better because he explains clearly more. This is more personal about the process and his personality. Sculting is so intimidating but he makes it fun and easy to learn with his "snakes of clay"..lol

It's not narcissistic to like a self portrait (or self sculpture, in this case.) One of my favorite paintings I've ever done is a self portrait. As for what I'm working on, I'm illustrating my own tarot deck!

I used to watch all your videos but kinda stopped at some point, I just came back to them and I gotta say I love the new format, it feels a lot more personal and we get to see some insight into your personality! I love all the rambling to the camera and how real you seem now, like "this guy is just as goofy and distractible as me". Also as an artist it's really comforting to hear that even popular artists, who have spent a really long time honing their skills and their medium of choice, sometimes psych themselves out before a project! I know I am just one of literally hundreds of thousands of subscribers, but I think the new videos are great!

This video is refreshing. So glad that he’s actually aware that he is human and is down to earth. He just came off as that these videos were because he had to and not like something he wanted to or enjoyed doing. So glad that it seems to not be the case 👍😁
I’ve had people tell me that they thought I was stuck up, snobby, or that I acted like I was above them but once they got to know me they realized that I was just shy and have horrible social anxiety.

Success in tiny little steps makes the way to huge successes! Even when I have to start my projects over or do not finish them there are some pretty lovelbul outcomes in the work that I am gonna repeat in next projects. I love watching people doing art for some reasons 1. I lern for my projects, every video I watch is also a lesson, 2. I got idears for new projects, 3. I love watching the process, when every thing comes together like making the zipper and the hangy things, 4. It is awsome to see how an ideer got real, 5. It teaches me how to handle things on my projects and 6. Its relaxing
