- BLUE Rocks take your breath away when you find them, they are mind blowing! I am not even kidding- this is an Outstanding rockhounding adventure! Come along with myself and my friend Ryker and Casen as we explore the spring gravels of the Yellowstone River before the massive 2024 spring snow melt season begins. This rockhounding adventure has had the BEST rock finds of Spring 2024 thus far!

Looking to learn about Yellowstone River agates? This is a publication from 1972 by a man named Paul Fry. This was the very first literature I read when I was learning about Montana agates. It is called "Meanderings of a Montana Rockhound" and it is priceless:

I was wondering if the petrified wood with blue running through it could be opal? Montana does have Opals. Beautiful rocks in your state!! Some of the prettiest I have seen in a while.

It's so nice that your boys are so interested at a young age. My kids had to grow into rockhounding. I've decided I like the jasper, agates and petrified wood the best in blues and greens and. . . never leave a fossil behind. 🕵♀

This is such a great activity for kids, get them out and engaged with nature. Way better than stuck in the house playing video games getting stressed out and angry if ya lose. These are some lucky kidos.

What can I say but wow wow wow that was crazy!!! The colours the patterns te shear amount of gorgeousness!! And so cool to see the lads enjoying it and how they see stuff in rocks really enjoyed the video but what is happening with Drogon? Is he on a diet?? You would make so much bank selling these on Amazon. People always buy stones that have no quality or authenticity, what you find are things people look for. I know you have stuff on eBay but you could whole sale in bulk. I am so jealous! If ever I am that way I would love to rock hound. I’m in Washington so I go different places but oh my goodness what a rock buffet
