Why the hell did it take me 4 months to see this video!?! PassCode has been my favorite idol group for so long now! I would definitely love so see more videos on them! They deserve so much more love. People judge them too harshly because of what they THINK is autotune, but it's actually just the vocoder vocal effect that other people have mentioned. While vocoder can do pitch correction, it's main use is to manipulate and robotify (is that a word?) the voice. Even on their studio recorded songs, you can still hear the shakiness in the vocal effect every now and then. Why the hell would they leave that in if they were going for pitch correction with the program? Because of the rise in popularity of vocaloid stars like Hatsune Miku, robotic vocals have become very popular in Japan, so that's primarily why they use them. And dam did they master the tactic cause it fits so well with the music!
And let's not forget Yuna! One of the absolute best female screamers I've ever heard! Unfortunately, I doubt she could help you with your screaming cause she doesn't really know how she does it herself, haha. She kinda just went off of what she felt was right, and went with it. Back when she first started screaming tho she did injure and tire out her voice a lot. She has improved since then, so she may understand a bit better of how to do it now. But either way, it sounds SICK AF!!! (and fun fact, she's like 4' 9. She's suuuuper short)
Now you're getting into the rabbit hole of Japanese Alt-Idol groups. Most people start with BABYMETAL and LADYBABY but the real gems are groups like PassCode, Broken By The Scream and tonnes of others. Been into PassCode since like 2014 back when they had a different fourth member in Yuri. Yuna's screams have gotten SO much better over the years, and PassCode absolutely kick ass in every way now.

Oh I love PassCode so much my #1 alternative idol group. Genre: Electronic Loudrock infuse with idol music plus chiptunes/8-bit gamey sounds. Yes it's not an autotune but a "Vocoder"(older tool than autotune), try their Live, I can assure doubters it's a vocoder effect because I heard them singing off key on Live. But in autotune it's pure magic! Off key is very impossible on this tool no matter how shit you sing.

If you like passcode , you'll like fear and loathing in las vegas too because passcode is like female version of them. where in fear and loathing in las vegas , the screaming dude (minami) is a fucking beast.
