To me, the most horrific of the voice lines will always be Black Mesa's Forget About Freeman. The absolute fear and panic the VA delivered near that end at whatever was about to happen to him feels so damn genuine. Everytime I hear it I get goosebumps.
Counter point: They were willing to execute civilians on command. They did in fact deserve this. Also the battles of the civil war were significantly deadlier.

HECU didn't deserve any of this, nobody did, Black Mesa alone was probably took the bloodiest battle on american soil, by far.
