Why you dislike him? He got illegally kneed. You should dislike Yan for breaking the rules. But I guess Americans just hate following the rules... If your not cheating, you're not trying, right? 😂
@Jelly Punk hits legacy isn't in the shitter. He got illegally kneed while down. You weren't there. And then he defended it legitimately and earned it. So what's your problem?
@@sammymarinero9086 I agree that the knee was blatantly illegal and damaging. Also agree he legitimately defended the belt. I just didn't like how he celebrated his title victory, and have always found him to be cringy in a less than humorous way.

I'm rooting for Aljo %100 without a shadow of a doubt, but man, gonna be hard to hold down Tj. Hopefully Aljo aims more for back takes in this fight instead of the takedown or bust approach many wrestlers do. Aljo has great back takes tho, so I'm confident he won't stray from the plan
That’s the thing with Aljo he’s not just a wrestler he’s a great all-around grappler all he has to do is create a scramble and he can end up on your back where he is one of the best at finding that RNC
Petr was and still is my favorite fighter, but Aljamain proved that with good technique and excellent grappling fundamentals can do to a seasoned striker with great TDD like Petr, it was fair game and I respect Aljamain now simply because of what hes accomplished and I think we all should too

Best 135’er imo, anyone whos seen his fights with petr can see he can be beaten but skill for skill i think hes the best. I feel his awkward enters with elbows and kicks, and his teeps will give tj big problems, i just hope aljo doesnt get into a brawl there’s very little chance he wins that
Think he subs TJ quite easily. TJ has always thought of himself as a striker and from what we've seen in the sandhagen and Linekar fights he doesn't seem to have, or maybe care about, using bjj. I suspect Aljo is miles above TJ in the ground game and Aljo is tough as shit on the feet.
I'm not convinced. I thought Yan won the second fight despite 2 rounds going the other way. And that's his fault, but whatever. I still think Sterling isn't long for championship status
One of the more effective grapplers in MMA history, as much as I dislike the guy. Just phenomenal scrambling, control, and submissions.

Back takes are immensely powerful against a no trained opponent. Basically nothing they can do.

Aljamain Back Pack Sterling
Yesssss
I think TJ's wrestling is good enough to keep it on the feet, and he's gonna expose Aljo's weaker striking game. TJ is much better on the feet

I don't think he's going to do that to TJ
