me too. this is the update I looked the most forward to. all upcoming updates and dinos are nice, but this is the best. by far. to me at least XD
Even when I am looking for a mate, I will still travel along Hypsies of the same gender. And we look for another Hypsi together.
I would love if some species get the chance to couple with more than one. like one hypsi male with three females. imagine how many babus

@@QuantumEclipse09 just do it. I didn't think anybody will like my vids when I started. I still struggle to believe sometimes.
to me videos should be entertaining and come from your heart. don't do stuff for the audience and don't copy others, just be yourself. also, ask yourself what you would like to watch. maybe something you are missing in other videos.
just start and try to improve from there. you gain experience with every video and this will help for the next and the next and so on.
also, don't put too much pressure on yourself. I started this for fun and was amazed that people like it. after three month (around 40 vids) I reached 100 subs and I was happy like crazy. I heard others complain when they don't get 10 new subs per vid after they start. that is the wrong mentality imo.
if you do it 'cause you love doing it, then you can't fail ;-)

Congrats on 3k!! I love update 5, it’s amazing :) I’ve been nested as a lot of dinos now!! I can never go into the official severs because it’s way to busy.. So I’m waiting until it’s not as busy to go into the officials..
So I go into unofficial cause you know when updates come on with the isle it’s sooo busy xD.. And sadly you can’t be babu hypsi without being nested! But a good thing is any Dino you be without being nested you start at 10%!!

yeah, I enjoy it as well. I'm glad you, too. skins are amazing and hatchlings are the best of all and all time. no other update will ever make me so happy again. I nested as female today. teno, for sunday, was amazing and sad :(

I got on for a bit and had so many issues but once the hype dies down I'm sure I will be able to get to nest and stuff.
yeah, it is a huge mess right now. as I expected tbh. I guess, we also get a hotfix soon. many little troubles like flying fish ^^

well, vacation is very nice as well. enjoy it as long as you can. we are not that often on holidays. the game won't run away and maybe they give us the needed hotfix till then ;-)

yeah, I love them straight away. I didn't see the other hatchlings so far, but till now, hypsi babus are the cutest XD
If you don't know here is all the balance changes 😁.Utah:bite damage buff,pounce is much better now it's very rare for it to be bugged,missed pounce cooldown is now only 1 sec rather than 3 sec.Ptera:peck damage buffed.Dryo:peck damage buff,dodge no longer has Stam consumption,you can now dodge right or left with A/D.teno:kick and tail slam stam consumptionCarno:it can now get more bleed damage,body fracture health has been reduced, it's bite hitbox has been lowered slightly.Deino: it's oxygen has been doubled, it now regenerates oxygen slower but when resting or scenting it will be doubled.Global:diet changes such as deino's S nutrient now comes from eating other deinos and stego now gives the same nutrient as elite fish,hunger intake has been reduced for all creatures to make sustaining a mega/mix pack much harder,knockdown time has been reduced to make it less of a death sentence, fractures now take a little bit longer to heal faster, juveniles accelerate much faster than their adult counterparts,tail damage has been reduced,now carnivores can only get all three nutrients when they are under 25% rather than 50% which makes sustaining all three nutrients more harder,they increased the spawn rate/spawn points for mango trees and mushrooms.Tip for nesting:males and females can build nests I don't why you couldn't place sticks,there are different nest types for different species debris nest(the one that you make from sticks) and mound nest (the one that you just have to dig continuesly and make sure you don't look too far from it to lose progress) for debris nest you need regulate the temperature of the nest by adding sticks continuesly and for mound nest you just have sit on it to regulate the temperature if it gets too hot/cold it will lose incubation progress until it hits 0% which will rotten the eggs and will make them unhatchable by others you can get rid of those useless eggs by pressing e on the nest when it shows "manage the nest" it's also another way to regulate the temperature but it's only for mound,Utah,stego,pachy,dryo will have mound nest,carno,deino,hypsi will have debris nest which also differenciate between them interms of models .Also love your videos mombie😍 even though I haven't been commenting much lately.I also really really love that the grass is more green it looks like an actual tropical island overall I love the new graphics it looks much better 😁.

I found this little group of Dryos just messing around by a river and they kept running into the water every time I went near, I think they soon understood I was trying to let them know about the several Deinonychus in there.
XD... that's why I love this game so much. every now and then you have funny and unpredictable situations like that :)

Hypsis are so cute (although i wish you'd start juvie but i guess its too hard to grow a hypsi atm? dunno) and you are such a good father looking after them, daww!
As fun as this update is, imma have to wait a few days. The servers are full and currently there is an annoying bug (for birb at least) where you can't jump and thus, can't fly which is very frustrating. Had a pachy friend needing to log 2 times cuz she got a more severe case of the bug where she could only walk and attack.
Offical runs a bit better for me now so that is something! I tried playing on Teutonic but the lag was horrible and more or less unplayable :c
I pray for more preformance updates in the future!
I will try again once all this has calmed down and its easier to get in on the servers!

yeah, the servers are awful right now. teutonic had a very bad ping. officials were all full. even if they never were shown full. it always said 92, 95 or 97 players. but, as soon as I wanted to join it said server full. very annoying. still, I'm happy you get at least a better performance. there will be some hotfix within the next weeks for sure. so, let's hope we all can enjoy the servers better soon :)
babu hypsi is my new cutest animal. I didn't saw other hatchlings so far tho, so, we will see :)

@@tearex12345 I guess, too many players "rush" the game. teutonic didn't have any players within the last weeks and now two (or even three?) full servers. many other private are full again as well. EU has meanwhile 7 server. there is a new SA server. all full. I guess, that's the problem. can't say for sure tho :/

Both female and male can build a nest. When paired press “n” where you want the nest to be. When holding sticks go to the nest and hold “e”. Some creatures like Utah build mound nests. They don’t need to gather sticks as far as I know
thanks a lot. ok, hold E with sticks. very useful info. yesterday I was a teno and we didn't need sticks. my husband told me to hold B to form the nest in the sand. but, it didn't work. he told me there is a bug right now as well. so, I still didn't make my own nest so far :/

One of the main criticisms from legacy was how boring and dark night was, and in evrima it seems to be even worse since you don't even have night vision. I think they ought to at least add a placeholder version of night vision, especially for times like this when your kids are born in the dark!
The lighting right now won’t be a problem for long since night vision is already finished. I think that the devs just aren’t releasing it until they fix most of the bugs with update 5
yeah, I hate the night in general and I also would have preferred them waiting for nightvision to be done before they make it more dark again. specially with the babus. I WANT TO SEE THEM! XD ... nesting is so fun. couldn't be more happy. I'm pretty sure you will enjoy it a lot as well :)

@@da.mombie Tried it out last night, but the game is still too poorly optimized for me. I couldn't get above 15 fps (which also kept dropping to 6 and under), parts of the world weren't loading and the audio was stuttering. Ended in a crash. I'll still have to wait for the game to be in a more playable state. :(
@@Tinycat000 jeez, that sounds bad. sry to hear. 15 FPS is no fun at all. sound stuttering is also a very bad sign. I really hope they fix it, but, honestly, compared to your troubles, this will probably take long :/
First time I got nested in I got the “mutation” skin at least I think I did my parents said so I am pretty sure shouldn’t be in the game I died soon but I took like 35 screenshots cause big happy family is cute I might have been jumping around the room cause this update is so good…. Then the game broke and I couldn’t rest eat or drink logout didn’t work so I pretty much knew I was dead my sibling still had the skin it was still fun :)
yeah, many issues. as I expected tbh. I hope they will give us some hotfix soon. still, the new mechanics, mostly nesting (but also skins) are awesome. so much joy. I see so many nice, funny, weird, sad and silly moments upcoming :)
@@DaSilverBackz I heard that some are bugged. not with pairing, but, with nesting. a fix for that is to delete the isle folder in your save datas. in the hidden Appdata folder.

in this folder you have to go to local and search the isle folder and delete it. but, be aware. if you did any special settings like scent on your mousebutton or whatever, then you have to do all settings again. your dinos don't get lost, they are on the server, but, all personal adjustments (graphics, keybindings) are gone and have to be redone.

I have the same issue with the nights, its always pitch black for me :/ I mostly sit in a bush then, because i cant risk moving anywhere since Im completly disoriented...any ideas how to fix this?
nightvision will fix it with the next update. that's why I don't understand why they didn't wait with darker nights till then. meanwhile I have no idea, sry :( I mean, there are some kind of gamma hacks, but I don't use those. kind of cheating.
@@da.mombie yeah, i wouldnt know how to do this gamma thing anyways XD For my friend the nights are very bright, so i guess its probably a computer problem
@@matilda1186 maybe the monitor/screen. I had a very bad some years ago. it reflected much light from outside. I couldn't see anything at Legacy. then I bought a new one and saw much better. still, I will never be a fan of nights :/

yeah, thx. I also played this on teutonic. which is unofficial. the official seems to have to much people to go for. they even expanded EU servers to 7 and still all full. I guess, more players than they expected.
I'm glad you love the update so much, but to me the island doesn't look as beautiful as before. The new graphics and green mush are terrible, the night is more annoying than ever. Keep enjoying the game, I'll watch your videos anyway!
yeah, the new colours are strange. I'm the guy who always needs to adapt to new "styles", so, I'm not quite sure about my own opinion yet. but, my first impression is strange. the dark areas in the forest look nice tho. we will see. but yeah, I hate the new night and the shorter day/night interval as well. why now? why not with nightvision then?
They should've waited the night vision update to make the nights darker

if you install the game, then it installs Legacy. the old brand. you have to change to evrima. this video shows how. the video is about QA test server, but it also works for you. just chose Evrima there.

yeah, the same issue. I tried 2 hours yesterday and then joined a private server. but, teutonic was very laggy yesterday. so, I will try official again today. we will see. it's annoying. but, I saw they did already 7 EU server now. so, I guess just too many people try to join right now :)

@@Tupiromanoardiente it is the same like with my burrow. no mechanic which breaks the game when missing, but still very sad. anyway, burrows will come and those nests will come as well. pretty sure about it. the only question is, when? XD

this was a mix. I started at EU5, then EU3, but the most of the part was on teutonic then. an unofficial server I played a lot Legacy on, back in the days.

They still can't fix their game, So I mean personally I just uninstalled the game and gonna wait a year or 2. Like they seriously updated the game and never fixed the deinos eyes, If you don't know what I'm talking about the deinos model loads in perfectly except for the eye balls. And all the other dinos are lame AF and no one cares to play them, Anyone plays stego their just playing it due to it being the strongest dino in game currently. Played since 2k16 and I'm just sick of these developers at this point, They release evrima, And it's nothing but a hot pile of garbage . Then they slightly make it better, But LACKS so much content. It's at a point where evrima is more of a game??? But when you promise updates every 2 months at the start and can't fulfill that promise you will start to have issues with the community. It took what 5 months??? For this one update 😂😂😂 . Like congratulations... We now have skins and nesting yay... Lol. Let me just go play legacy at this point, Least there is a variety of cool dinosaurs. And don't take this message as a hate message for the game.. there is a reason I've played since 2k16 but evrima is a hot pile of garbage, And has a LONG TIME BEFORE ITS GOOD.

I felt like that when Evrima came out. with only teno and utah and even those were badly bugged, they couldn't even run. they were half in the ground, the animation was stopping between and so on. I was mad. then I had a break. didn't play more than a year and came back at update 3. since then I'm very happy with the development. it always depends on the point of view. from my point of view, they do a good job. devs who makes promises (update 2 month) are normal and no scandal. just look at ever bigger studios and projects like cyberpunk or red dead redemption online. which is a much bigger shame.
in this case, a small dev team wanted more than they can achieve. so, all slowed down, but, at least they didn't cut down their plans (content) like the studios I mentioned above. is it perfectly coded? nope, not even close. but, again, they are a small team. I saw and played worse alphas from far bigger studios. the only thing I want is the game to make progress. and it does. a lot. I play Evrima about a year and the difference between now and update 3 is huge! also, all other dinos are lame AF for you, but, that's just you. I love them all. I have more fun with dryo than any apex ;-)
