Thank you for this video: Much needed. No matter how much we scream this fact to the Church it goes unheard. It's very important to understand this difference because last-day events in prophecy can't be understood.

You would be a Jew. The descendants of the trans Atlantic slave trades are primarily from the Southern Kingdom. Or Judah. Judah, Benjamin make up that Kingdom. Now there are some others that were probably captured as well from other tribes. My bloodline is from Judah.
@@peteveal9836 is there is more to my story? Yes! I was given the Little Scroll of Revelation 10, published under the title: "Must Believe in Jesus Name" by Ricky Eugene Woods, Amazon Books.
Well, Judaism is about include all the people appearing in the Old Testament called Torah too AND the ones who interact with the Israelites in the New Testament,..
there are Jews the People, which Western Society is confused about and than the Jews as a belief, they have no confusion among them, only Christianity and Western Society has issue. Israel is Person of Bible, but also a location. The word "Jew" is not used in the Hebrew Bible, also known as the Old Testament. Food for thought
The term Yehudi ( יְהוּדִי) occurs 74 times in the Masoretic text of the Hebrew Bible. The plural, Yehudim ( הַיְּהוּדִים) first appears in 2 Kings 16:6 where it refers to a defeat for the Yehudi army or nation, and in 2 Chronicles 32:18, where it refers to the language of the Yehudim ( יְהוּדִית).
@@robertasovaite2754 that refers to the Tribe of Judah, "member of the tribe Judah". which is not the Hebrew people, you take it out of context. Today, we assume that the Judeans became what we know as the Jews, but the fact is that the word Jew does not appear in English until 1275. The term Jews also referred to the split kingdom and not the Israel people as a whole, mentioned several times about the split kingdoms and what befell them, but not the term Jew for the peoples of Israel as a whole as we do today.
There is no way somebody today could prove that their ancestors were from Judah tribe. Judah tribe lived in those ancient times. That's it. A legend from the past. Today's humans is just a mix.
TWO INSIGHTS: 1) Am Israel (The Nation of Israel) is of Middle Eastern descent. We have often migrated into Africa and lived there for generations at various times as outlined in The Torah. It’s a crying shame that the visual depiction of B’nai Israel (The Children of Israel) in this video is exclusively Eurocentric which is a grave and gross error. Today we look like the people in the land where we are found….but, we are a people of color….the visuals in this video should show the truth of who we are…..It does not. 2) The word “Israeli” is an English translation of the Hebrew which is: BNAI ISRAEL (CHILDREN OF ISRAEL). HaShem never refers to us (His beloved Covenant People) as ‘Israeli’.
I haven’t watched this clip Yet. However I would like to comment before watching it. ISRAEL is a nation and the Word Israelites mean: all the people that live in this nation calls ISRAEL. The Jews means the definition of the people whom GOD specifically chosen as the Original Habitants when this Nation ISRAEL was created. Those words “Jews” and “ISRAELITES” are totally different in meaning and Holiness. ❤
Israel is a people. The descendants of Jacob are the Hebrew Israelites. The people that live in Israel are Israeli. They don’t not come from Jacob. They aren’t even Semitic. They are actually khazars. Now as for Jews and Israelites……Jews would be from the Southern Kingdom and Israelites are from the Northern Kingdom. Read 2 Kings 17. That’s where the Northern Kingdom was carried away into Assyria in 722bc. Currently, the Northern kingdom or tribes are back in Africa and Judah is still scattered in the nations.
In the King James Version (KJV) of the Bible, Galatians 3:28 states, "There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: for ye are all one in Christ Jesus". The verse's meaning is that all Christians are equal in the eyes of God and should view each other as such. It also conveys that race, gender, wealth, health, and culture are irrelevant to our relationship with Christ. The apostle's purpose in writing this verse was to: Show that believers of all nations, conditions, and sexes have a common right Encourage the Gentiles Demolish the pride and boasting of the Jews, especially the men
I think Romans 1 v 16 shows that that idea is invalid as does Romans 9 v 13. God has every right to choose whom he will. That he chose the nation of Israel above every other nation is also evident. There is neither Jew, nor Greek is talking about personal salvation, so God offers salvation to all. Does God choose some and not others, does God select one nation sbove all others? You bet he does....at least thats what the bible teaches.
@@backwatersage Psalm 105 v 6 to 12, i think this shows that yes God promised it to Abraham, but as these verses make very clear, the promise was also made to the nation.
@@backwatersage I have no idea how you explain away psalm 105 v 6 to 10. In fact you have a hard time explaining away the fact that the everlasting covenant was to "Jacob for a law, AND Israel as an everlasting covenant". Then of course there is the clear and obvious fact of Romans 11 where the apostle Paul is referencing the nation of Israel. BTW i guess i can safely ignore your comments as anyone who can judge me as being an atheist without even knowing me let alone meeting me, can only be placed in the category of those who say the car is red when they have a blindfold on....

I am a Hebrew from the tribe of Benjamin. I was born in America, which make me an American Hebrew, not a Jew or an Israelite...does that make sense?

There’s only one covenant remaining. That is through Christ Jesus. The first covenant passed away. Book of Hebrews.
