- In this video I will go over a variety of options for fishing small swimbaits. Underspins and small swimbaits kinda go together. However dialing in to the bite can bring more bites, and even bigger bites by dialing it in. There is no right answer, so here are some ideas to consider and try out to see what the fish really want that day.

I’m right there with you Sean underspins and small swimbaits. The smallmouth on lake mead love the GLF sneaky underspin paired up with a keitech easy shiner or a OSP Dolive shad. Another great option is the reaction innovations Little Dipper, I’ve had some great days using that bait as well. Thank you as always for the video, I’m hopefully gonna get out next week we have a 2-3 day period where it’s gonna jump to around 70 degrees.
Thanx AA. I'm not much of a swimbait angler but did throw the tush last fall. Seemed to get bit more than a jig head but didn't catch anything over 1 1/2 lbs. I did like the swim action. Definitely different and I say more natural.
I am watching videos, learning about new baits, buying new baits and trying out new baits. Today was my third fishing trip in a row that I have zero’d.
That’s awesome. Makes it more fun when you’re catching.
The second set of eyes looks like the side dots on a shad
Good point
At certain time of year and certain lakes, I’ve had mucho success on the Keitech “easy shiner” 3.5” in either crystal shad or silver shad on a 1/4oz darter head.
And that is what I mean about dialing it in. Nice.
I have a buddy that always throws an underspin, he’s tried them all and throws the Road runner Randy head. All we can figure is the horse head displaces more water while retrieving. I actually poured him some with a larger hook, than the road runner. 1/4 oz head with a 5/0
I think that’s the first one I ever used. One of the fish head spins I think. Still have some of them.
