Hi, Is there a way to add external effects or multiple effects (delays and reverbs) units or possibly and external compressor to independent tracks instead of using the effects that are in the dp24sd. Thank you.
Dumb question time: I have always recorded into my portastudios with effects applied through pedals or in my amp simulator. However, these days, I try to record dry and add effects afterwards. I tried a few half-hearted attempts to apply reverb to some dry tracks last night with no success. SO.... Is it possible to add effects to recorded tracks on the DP-24, or must the effects be applied at the time of recording? Thank you! 🙏
Me and the bass player are " dinosaurs" , we did not know ( or we did not notice it) that to engage the reverb there is the On / Off to select ; that's the reason why during the drums sound check we did not find any difference of sound , although we were trying to " push" the reverb at the maximum , expecially for the snare drum . We are clumsy !! Regards from Italy, Patrick
I'm going to have to check the video, but if it's either the internal reverb or it is running through the stereo bus, it won't get recorded to the track either way.
Your videos on the dp 24/32 are great but i saw a comment that said this unit is hard to learn. I think it has been super easy. The manual is easy to understand. Tascam made this Dp 24 for dummies like me. That viewer might be to smart for this unit?
Thank you for posting this video. The manual doesn't explain very well and your vid is very good and easy to follow.
Thanks man! This helped a bunch!

Sure, I made a video. ruclips.net/video/idBY7siStak/видео.html

Yes, I'm actually going to be doing a video on that in the coming weeks.

Quick question. I assume that had you chosen "post" versus "pre" the reverb still would not have been recorded to the track. is that correct? Thanks

Possible. I think a lot of it has to do with his thought process. We all think differently.
