This was so informative and also just really reassuring. Thank you so much Julie and Laura and Britt!! I’m a criminology student and have always been interested by the concept of death (specifically crime related, albeit) but I’ve recently been reading different articles about how death is viewed and managed in different cultures all over the world and throughout history and I think current western mindsets leave a lot to be desired because of the denial and what Julie was talking about with so many medical advances aimed at increasing life span. Of course this is great for general life but it doesn’t negate the inevitable. Laura and Britt, you guys are incredible and I love that I can listen to your podcast and wet myself laughing one episode and then cry contemplatively the next. Either way, I’m learning! Haha lots of love xxx
