Well done on completing the Ben Nevis trek Andrew! Yes, it's been a pretty poor summer for astro in the UK but the beginning of September looks better (wouldn't be difficult would it!). Love the HDR effect on your moon images. Thanks for sharing.
This has indeed been a crap year for Astro 😢😢 However, like yourself, I was lucky enough to do a time lapse of the Blue Moon a couple of days ago. I also helped my mate live stream the moon on his channel that night. Once I get through my set of shifts at work, I’ll get a chance to edit my Time Lapse. I’ll set my expectations low simply because I had similar cloud problems to yourself. Good effort both of you for getting up and down the Ben. It is a scary hill in bad weather and to add darkness into the mix makes it all the more scary. You both got back safely which is all that matters.😊 I’ve been up there seven times, by five different routes, and seen squat diddley each time. Hopefully this winter season will be nice to us all for a bit of Astro stuff.

Managed to capture the supermoon on the 31st and just waiting for the Aurora season to kick off again.
Yeah we are all itching to get back to Aurora!!
