Oklahoma QB Spencer Rattler
Freshman 6’1 205 lbs
Oklahoma has become a QB factory the last few years with Heisman winning QBs in Baker Mayfield & Kyler Murray becoming the 1st overall picks. Then Jalen Hurts transferred from Alabama & is now set to start for the Eagles. Redshirt Freshman Spencer Rattler is the next one up. He was the top rated QB in his class & has shown why in his first year as a starter.
After the Sooners lost back to back games early on, a lot of people started to doubt Rattler. Even though he did get benched during the Texas game, he came back in & led them to a win in 4 overtimes. That seemed to be the turning point & ever since then Rattler has looked like a candidate to be the 1st overall pick in the 2022 NFL Draft.

Thanks my man! I’m definitely resting as much as I can. I took 3 days off after the draft & just had the itch to get back to work immediately. lol Instead of 2-3 videos a day, it’ll probably be 3-4 videos a week

Yessir Rattler my guy. Ever since I watched QB1 beyond the lights I fell in love with him. He is mobile along with a NFL ready arm and comes from one of he best QB systems, he is a beast future NO. 1 overall pick imo. But anyways another banger vid bro!

He's got skill for sure. But one thing I noticed in the season, is his late game flaws. Most games he took an early lead and was able to take it easy in the 4th... but on the games where he really needed to play well in the 4th, OU lost or came really close to losing. He has yet to play well in all 4 qtrs of a game. Hoping that changes this upcoming season. If he wants to succeed in the NFL, he needs to be a competitor to the last minute of every game. Highlights can be rather deceiving. I watched every snap of Rattler's in 2020 and there is still some work to be done. We'll see how much he has improved in the off season. Not a bad year for a redshirt freshman at all though!

I think this year’s top 3 or 4 QBs are on Lawrence and Fields level.Rattler,Howell and JT Daniels should be elite this season.I do think though that DJ U for Clemson will be better then them all.

Absolutely. Beautiful flick of the wrist and a very strong arm. His ball placement could use some work though. On a lot of those throws, the reciever had to make some funky adjustments to catch it and a few were really close to being intercepted. His short to mid range passes are pin point though.

@@KevonDaDon at passing yeah. Howell is much better on his feet and makes better decisions when under pressure though. There's more to being a QB than having a good arm and cool highlights. Rattler doesn't play too well in the 4th quarter, he either jumped up on an early lead and got pulled/took it easy.. or he struggled bad and almost lost... and DID lose a couple times. He has yet to show that he can play well in all 4 qtrs. of a game.
I wouldn't mind seeing him with the Raiders 💯💀

I think Caleb Williams is 100x's better than Spencer. He'll have a much better career, than Spencer. Hell he Caleb Superman Williams may end up being the best QB in OKL history!! I'll come back to this post in 3years and say I told y'all!
