The "National Anthem of the Republic of Austria" ("Bundeshymne der Republik Österreich"), also known by its incipit "Land der Berge, Land am Strome" is the national anthem of Austria.
Nineteen days before his death on 5 December 1791, Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart composed his last complete work, the Freimaurerkantate, K. 623. In parts of the printed edition of this cantata there appeared the song K. 623a "Lasst uns mit geschlungnen Händen" ("Let us with joined hands"). To this melody the Austrian national anthem is sung. Today, Mozart's authorship is regarded as dubious and the song is attributed to Johann Holzer (either solely or co-authored with Mozart) or Paul Wranitzky. The lyrics of the anthem are from Paula von Preradović.

Land der Berge, Land am Strome (Pays des montagnes, pays sur le fleuve) est l'hymne national de l'Autriche depuis le 22 octobre 1946. Les paroles sont de Paula von Preradović. La musique a été adaptée par le compositeur Max Schönherr, à partir de la Freimaurerkantate : Laut verkünde unsre Freude (K. 623) de Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, sa dernière œuvre complète, écrite deux semaines avant sa mort.

Die „Bundeshymne der Republik Österreich“, kurz: österreichische Bundeshymne, besteht als Nationalhymne aus der Melodie des sogenannten „Bundesliedes“ und aus dem Gedicht Land der Berge (oft auch als Land der Berge, Land am Strome bezeichnet).
Das „Bundeslied“ wurde am 22. Oktober 1946 durch Beschluss des Ministerrats zur Hymnenmelodie. Der von Paula Preradović verfasste Text wurde - nach mit der Autorin abgestimmten Änderungen - durch einen weiteren Beschluss der Regierung am 25. Februar 1947 zum Hymnentext.

I'd like to also thank Brazil for supporting our independence in 1952. Brazil presented a preliminary draft resolution at the United Nations General Assembly to restore the full sovereignty of Austria. The preliminary draft was accepted with 48 votes. In October 1955 Austria became a free country again.
Albania also thanks a lot to Austrian Empire.
When Albania did need the most the Austrian help, you were there to help us in 1913 when you put Ultimatum to Serbia.

Anthem was written by Paula von Preradović, granddaughter of the croatian poet Petar Preradović. 🇭🇷🇦🇹 He was born and raised as an "Austrian" but when he heard of the Croatian peoples' plan for their "national renaisance" (Narodni preporod) he started learning the Croatian language from scratch and latter went on to become one of the most important poets in croatian history.
and the earlier anthem was composed by Croatians in Lower Austria,
now the Germans had occupied ist
Preradović vas born as a Serb from an Eastern orthodox family. He later on converted to Catholicism and started referring to himself as Croat.

Sva sreća pa je otišao u ameriku jer ste ih ubijali u WWl i u WWII, bio bi svet u mraku i dan danas. 1990 kad je bio rat u Jugoslaviji opet ste mu zapalili i kuću i crkvu u kojoj je kršten. Dva puta mu rušite kuću i crkvu a prisvajate da je vaš

@@kilianschattauer5625 No, only a small minority of us want them back, i am not one of them, as i am an KPÖ(Communist Party of Austria) Member. We have an Party in Austria, the SGA(Black-Yellow Alliance), which aims at restoring the Habsburg Monarchy with Karl of Habsburg-Lorraine or Ulrich of Habsburg-Lorraine as it's centre. If you want the Monarchy back, you can Vote for it, if it gets 50% of the Votes, we can have an Monarchy back, but that is impossible as most of us Austrians perfer the Federal Democratic System, so the SGA wouldn't win because either they need to form a coalition with the other-nonmonarchist Parties or get enough votes to reach the magical 50%, but with an coalition an Monarchy is pretty limited and would mostly end up powerless like in britain. Currently the SGA has less then 260 Votes in the last legislative Election of 2019, in comarison, my party got 32,728 Votes and got 0.7% of the votes. The SGA doesn't even have an Elected Mayor in any Village, my Party has an Mayor(Elke Kahr) in the secound biggest City of Austria, Graz. The SGA also aims to get Hungary, Slovakia, Czechia, Tranylvania, Slovenia, Croatia, Bosnia, South Tyrol, Lower Poland, Some Parts of the Ukraine and even though it has no claims on that, even Bavaria. So you see, the Monarchist Party of Austria, which is extremly small(doesn't even have 0.00% of the Votes of Austria) has no real support by the People. Don't perfer to your little Community of Monarchist in Austria as the whole of it, because most of us are ashamed by the claims that Karl of Habsburg-Lorraine made in the last few years, and the mostrous thing they did as monarchs, they even started the first World War and we got punished by that for their wrongdoings in the war. If you want an Dictatorial Leader like an Monarch, Vote for the FPÖ(The Freedom Party of Austria), which is an far-right Party with Ex-Nazi Party Members who are Patriotic towards the VF(Fatherland Front).
