Thanks very much Judith 😀 We saw that they still hold concerts there, would have loved to have gone but there wasn’t anything on the day we were there. Agreed about the ruins, I love imagining what it would have been like. We went to a place called Puy du Fou in France where they do these amazing performances from different time periods. They have built a replica colosseum it was incredible to experience to see a show there!
As for the old ruins, I don't believe that we now have the technology nor the skills, to rebuild in the same style. Buildings today have a lifespan of decades, not hundreds let alone thousands of years. Having a cold windy wet winter weekend here in Oz, so very envious of your weather. Oh for a swim in warm water😢 sympathy for the parking issues though. By the way, do appreciate the medley of dogs you show over time!🐕
You are so right, there are so many skills and so much knowledge that has been lost, we live in such as disposable world now. Glad you’re loving the dogs, we get just as excited about the dogs as the ancient monuments 😂 can’t believe the weather we’ve have been so lucky!
