What a lovely thing to say 🤩 thanks so much. Wishing you all the very best with it. If you need any inspiration for the journey expedition rove (on instagram) have just done it but in reverse, they shipped to SA and then drove back to the UK.
I came across your channel yesterday and I’m now obsessed. Your knowledge, skill level and banter are next level. Been married 34 years and always wanted to do what you’re doing. This weekend we bought a part converted Renault Trafic to finish and get travelling. Thanks for keeping me company whilst I’m poorly. Oh and Jess, great gun show 😂
Hi Debbie, that’s so lovely of you thanks. Absolutely stoked for you getting a van!!! You’ll love it, vanlife/ overlanding is our favourite way to travel and see the world, you just can’t beat it!! Make sure you send us some pics when you’re finished, we love seeing peoples vans a them living the dream. Get after it 💪💙😃 hope you feel better soon 💙

Wow, you guys sure get around. Was watching a video of you in the Hiace getting bogged down a beach in WA Australia and now in UK lol. Love your funny and informative videos wherever they are from.
Looking awesome so far on your build . With great informative build ideas threw out . Enjoyed seeing you guys building this rig out . Thanks again for sharing your wonderful build videos . Always a fun watch with you two .😆cheers from Steve Stott in Sutherlin Oregon U.S.A. :) :) 😁👍🏼

I'm in love with your workshop ❤❤ Also are you aware that you can get Aluminium wire to use the MIG welder on Aluminium, will also need to swap out the gas for Argon
Thanks Lee, yeah I used to have one set up like this, works good most of the time but snags in the liner a fair bit, but works not too bad hey, I then got a proper spool gun which worked allot better but I’m looking at getting one of the new rtech tig welders, looks a really cool machine and easy to set up 👍
I have a very similar interior (also a poptop roof), but I was wondering if the bed extension will be strong enough to hold a person. Allright, I am 100kg but still the remaining wood at the end will get some heft to carry. Good luck, greetz from Sweden
Hi, yeah we have fitted a double layer piece of wood under the bed frame to create a draw storage area, so one piece goes with the bed frame when you pull it out and the other stays under the seat part, so all now very secure, it will make more sense in the next video 😁
Hi, Jess and Jon, I've been rewatching and re-admiring he Landy build series . I also visited your amazon shop but I can't find the name of the safe you installed in the cabin. Do you still remember where you bought it and what the price was? Thanks and greetings from Flanders. Marc.
Hi guys, great channel, the wife and I love your energy and passion, I have a question for Jon if that is ok. We have a ford ranger and I want to get some lights on my roof rack, how would Jon tackle getting power up there from a switch on the dash? I'm not sure if going through the ariel port or taking from the truck bed is the best idea
Thanks guys, we used to run the cable up the front pillar when installing beacons etc, there’s quite a few decent waterproof pannel connectors out there now too 👌😊
Looks brilliant! Amazing how much progress you've made again this week despite the crappy weather. Your workshop is the stuff of dreams 😁 Will you guys be heading to any of the UK shows? LRO? Adventure Overland? Whats the plan once you've finished the build?
Thanks James, yeah I’d say my passion is buying tools 😂😂, I was looking the other day weather to go to the overlanding show in September but it just depends what we are up to at the time, once the landy build is finished we are gonna give her a little test trip somewhere in the uk to make sure she’s all good, and then at the end of the year we are going to take it to Africa, but before that we are going to convert a sprinter grp box van and we are going to take that to the nordics before Christmas, do a skiing trip sort of trip, so will be flat out but can’t wait 😁
@@truebluetravellers sounds fantastic. I have similar aspirations to get out to Africa too. Although my build is not going at quite the same pace as yours! Looking forward to see how you get on with the cabinets 👍
