    I sent to that site and ordered the blend of top 3 for the growing test nearest me. Sadly the first time I ever did it I thought you just threw the grass seed down and God blessed it because it grew. Since then I've learned how to ensure the grass survives by fertilizer and aerating. So even if the grass grows you better know how to get the roots going real good or the weeds come in. Now that I am doing it properly the grass is getting real thick and I follow the pros like you and that advice is always good and true. That grass you got there is good priced for the quality!

    I’m in SlC Utah, already have tall fescue/kbg mix that’s been here for 40+ years. It’s doing great especially after taking Pete’s and others advice this year. Thanks Pete, keeping the seed moist and the established lawn also needs enough moisture to keep healthy through these 95+ temps.

    • @kellyjensen9425
      @kellyjensen9425 6 лет назад

      strumzi live in West Jordan here. Been thinking TTTF or just a fescue mix with kbg is the answer to my grass problems. Seems no matter what I do certain locations in the yard struggle with the heat while other locations look great. It occurred to me I need something more tolerant of direct sunlight in 90+ temps. I plan on over seeding fescue with a slit seeder later this year. I also just ran a soil analysis and realised I'm way low in nutrients. Apparently the massive amount of malorganite I put down is having a much slower/less significant impact than I hoped for. I just hit it with ammonium sulfate, potassium chloride, triple phosphate, chelated Iron, and she's really perking up. Was worried I'd burn it in this heat but instead the grass is loving it. Long ramble, just thought it was cool seeing a Utahn talking about fescue when I'm very curious how a mix would perform in my own lawn in this region.

When overseeding do you recommend putting down fertilizer (I have a bag of milorganite in the garage) and maybe a light coating of top soil so the seeds can germinate faster? Hey Pete, you deserve your brand of grass seed way to go! I love the way you explain things and go in detail the right way to do stuff! I recieved 2 bags this week, going to try to overseed into mostly ryegrass fine fescue,kbg mix. Not sure what the crap ryegrass is but apparently that's what mostly my lawn is. I like it but some widerblade stuff creeps like orchard grass to hard to control. Hoping the tttf will blend in if not I'll smoke it and start over again! Your opinion should I smoke it this fall, or try overseeding a few years? 22,000 sqft. Appreciate your honesty, I'm like you doesn't bother me one bit to smoke it, just alot of hard work

    Its July here in KY. I want to raise parts of my lawn from a tree that was removed and a sewer line that was dug up 2 years ago. Then level low spots throughout the entire yard before I overseed with your GCI tall fescue seed? When is the best time to do this before overseeding the entire lawn? What do you suggest putting down, regular topsoil? Mid August I fertilize and apply weed control. Also how long after applying a pre-emergent can I overseed or should I skip my late summer weed program?

    Hi Pete,
    I enjoy your tips and advice. I am an avid grass care taker. I live in Ohio. Would I be able to enjoy this product? Would really like to convert to your product. But I did not know if I can or not? I have about 4,200 sq feet of lawn. Or should I continue to stick with my Jonathan Green Ultra Beauty? Take care. God bless you my brother through Christ.

    Another great video. Do you put down grass seed annually in your yard (even as good as your yard is already)?

    What ‘do’ we use for heavily shaded areas? I have a client now who wants a “shade seed”….
    Thank you for your time,

    Great video! So I have a decent lawn that is predominately fescue with some weed issues here and there. A couple small areas that have some Bermuda showing. I have several dips/bumps that is now smoothed out. In a year I’ve taken it from weed pit to a good lawn. What’s the best way to smooth the yard? The dips in my opinion are too drastic for normal “leveling”. Should I renovate or do local/small spot renovation?

      that's exactly how I would do it. Spot renovation

    Hey everyone! Quick question: Are these seeds coated/colored, or are they plain? I'm in need of plain seeds suitable for pregermination. Thanks in advance for any info!

    Can the NEXT Green Pop be applied as a second application if you threw out additional seed to fill thin spots three weeks after the initial seeding? Or do you recommend applying Green Start as the second application per the seeding starter pack instructions? Thanks!!

    Pete I just ordered a bag of your seed today 8/2/18 can't wait to reseed in the fall. I have a bit of a crabgrass issue all of a sudden trying to get a handle on that. What's the best approach? Keep up the great work
