Definitely my grail knife. Has been since I first saw one online. I've seen a few in person since, and have never been able to justify the price. Doesn't stop me from dreaming.
tried polishing my Sebenza washers on just a strop and ended up getting a bit of blade play. Ended up sending it in to CRK for a new set of washers. Lesson learned I guess. Great vid!
They are great knives, but I just tighten the pivot as much as I can and work it until it polishes itself. Thank you for watching and have a great week
From my perspective, No. Have a small plain 31 for a few weeks. I got some kind of lockrock and mine has lockstick too. So the ceramic ball does not prevent this. It’s a beautiful knife but for 500$+ I don’t want the "lockrock" and the sticky lock. Guess the lock stick will get worse since it didn’t stick from the beginning. My spidey chef is so much more solid and smooth. It was half the price. Time will tell if I love it or hate it.
@@STUFFWEDO so… I really like it now. The stick didn’t got worse and I found out that when I push the lockbar at a certain way it won’t stick. It cuts like a champ and feels pretty solid. Only thing that bugs me a bit is the little lockrock/lockbarflex. But when u use it it makes no difference. One of my favourites in the collection now.
did you pay for it? like R9000 ? what does it do extra? or more than a R1000 knife? i could not. i dont think this is a youtube channel for me, i couldnt justify more than 500 rands on any knife. him being south african has nothing to do with it. no thanks.
He did say it was a grail, grails change as one matures in knife use. With the warranty this is the knife that should be used hard, no knife should be abused. It would be nice to have the steel type on the blade, visible to user.
It looks like a cool knife and no doubt the tolerances are fine but the lock bars bolt head just irritates the hell out of me. Like it was never meant to be, and the even protrudes into the chamfer. Each to their own, I know you love it 😁 He makes some epic knives, this one just doesn't do it for me. Love the ant comment 🤣🤣
"Is it still worth buying it?" No....never has been. $500 or more for a knife is crazy. A rifle yes. A good rifle scope...yes. A folding knife...... no way. Even if it's made in America. It is way way way overpriced. It's a pretty knife, yes......but if I'm paying that much, it better be rock solid and take a ton of abuse. I just don't see these doing that. Emerson knives are the only American made knife that I would trust to take a ton of abuse.

Dreams do come true. Never stop. It is a bunch of money.
That is a beautiful knife I just won't be able to afford one anytime soon
For sure. Thank you for watching Carl
Hi! Can i ask what kind of Suzuki car do you have? The knife is amazing. Grats
It is my wife's. It is a Suzuki Swift, the white and black one.
Perhaps it was made in Hungary, my country
Most of the swifts are made here.

How did you get double lugs? Aftermarket? Do you manage to use the lug on the right side?
I dont know if its worth that money, but its a great piece and i want one too!
For sure.
@@STUFFWEDO i just dont know wich one, i like the inkosi too
Spray painting your new Sebenza, now that is a great father.
Hehe
Do you have an insert in your lanyard tube? If so, where did you get that? :0
It is the standard lanyard tube on the 31. They changed it from the 21.
@@STUFFWEDO Oh, thank you! I think I might've just been misseeing it in the video, lol.
Hoop daai toetse kom positief terug! ja ek het nog altyd van hulle gehou al is hulle bietjie pricey.
Virseker, maar defnitief n nice to have
