I didn’t go to after school academies since I have been in the school for the whole day and they wanted me to rest. They allow me to sleepover or go out with my friends without asking me too much about it. Wow!!

😂😂 Yeah but I feel that it kinda keeps us in check. I know too much of it can be annoying but that at least makes us think twice before making any decision recklessly. We're at an age where we have so much to do and a lot of us tend to make decisions that they might regret later. Some things when done at the wrong time tend to have unpleasant consequences which we might realize much later on in life.. So I think in the long run it helps us make better decisions than others..

African parents are also like this, except we don’t send our children to dance or music academies. Strictly academic classes. I had to do extra-English classes, extra physics classes and Ad-maths. I took music as an elective subject just to piss off my parents. Still ended up in medical school. I almost dropped out, but my parents threatened to kick me out of the house. By the way my father is a doctor and my mother is a nurse so you can imagine how hectic it must have been.

I usually told my parents what I was doing and when I expected to be home. Heck, I do it even these days if I'm visiting and I go out to meet a friend or go for a walk with the dog.
They used to ask me those things when I was younger so I just took the initiative to tell them and it became a habit. Although sometimes I've just gone out, even when I was younger. My parents trusted me for the most part.

The thing about math is that you don't need much language skills for math.
At least for low level math, practice makes perfect.
As long as you do tons of problems, go over their solution and perhaps memorize how the problems are solved, you will get 90% of the problems right.
Which I believe is at least an A- at most places.
Of course, if you understand the underlying principles, you can do 0 problems and still get good grades.
That said, tests are not always about understanding. It is kind of also about speed. And practice definitely gives you speed.

To be honest it really depends on person, baby faces and mature faces happen everywhere and people aren't as perceptive and a lot are too lazy to check sometimes.
I have family members who even at 30s can get asked for ID, if they are clean-shaved or don't wear makeup, doesn't change a fact that some of my friends haven't been asked for ID since 14 years old. I mean unless shop keeper is actually doing their job, I almost never was asked to show my ID due to my height.
I feel like the biggest indicator of someone's age is actually lack of skin problems, good looking makeup and/or not patchy facial hair (most men can't grow more full beard until certain age, when hair growth is bigger). I feel like those are the main points people use. Oh an obviously height and body (like muscles, proportions etc). Like no one suspects a person with 2 meters to be around 15 years old. And that was literally when I finished my growth spurt.
