Have to agree; clearly Sigourney is the front for a black-ops gone wrong; and they contain it by having as few guards as possible. The Gorge will get carpet-bombed with bunker blusters if all goes south. The safety line blowing up will be part of a betrayal. That's most likely the American sniper's grandfather, who was part of the Philadelphia experiment and somehow the monsters in the Gorge can track bloodlines. They did a good job with the trailers, honestly. Considering that lately every single trailer gives away everything, this one makes you curious, more or less.
Right, no outside contact. If anything comes out of that gorge, no one needs to know. Plus, one person can watch 24x7, so there's no way anything will slip by. Sure.
No. About 40% of the movie, of which a hugely abbreviated 40%. The entire remaining 60% is missing. I've read the screenplay. The movie is called THE GORGE. You will find out what THE GORGE is and it's not as the character J.D. describes in the trailer as "the doorway to hell." It's something more evil than that. It’s a place where the saying "there are fates worse than death" is true.
I see a lot of comments about the trailer showing the whole movie and, while I agree that leaving more to discover is obviously important, nobody's seen it. We have no idea how much more there is to the movie. Maybe they really did reveal every important thing and there's no hidden mystery, but it's too early for all that negativity and the certainty behind it.
What you see is fragments of about 35% of the beginning of the film. The rest of it along with 65% of the remaining film isn't shown. The movie is called THE GORGE, after all. The only way to truly find out is for the characters to go into it themselves (either willingly or by force or in this case to fall into it). And trust me, you’ll discover that THE GORGE is much more than J.D.’s description of it as "the doorway to hell." It’s something far more sinister. In fact, this is one of those times where the saying, "there are fates worse than death," couldn’t be more fitting.
I love the idea, hate how they included so much of the movie's plot in the trailer. I feel like it could've ended at 2:04 rather than show they go into the Gorge. Obviously, we can assume they will, but I feel like it got spoiled by the trailer pretty bad. Would've been nice to not know that for certain. Overall reminds me of Cabin in the Woods, The Barbarian, Passengers, and Annihilation. (which is a sick combo)
Love that it shows them go into it at the end. That way we know we’re not being set up to watch a movie where we never actually see anything and it’s just talking the whole time.

So how did they keep all the contractors safe to build that infrastructure?
Movie magic. Who was watching the gate before humanity had all the tech to secure it?
@ obviously the dinosaurs passed on the mantle right 🤷🏻♂️
Anya and Miles?? Sold!!! 🥵 🔥
They did a good job with the trailers, honestly. Considering that lately every single trailer gives away everything, this one makes you curious, more or less.
Now thats a good trailer. Not spoiling the entire movie.
They kinda spoiled
@@jimboh.2654 Sarcasm. 🤡
yeah it was a little spoilery
Are we supposed to be grateful they only spoiled 75%?
They spoiled half of it
Anya Taylor-Joy is gorgeously talented.
Iam a simple man.. I see Anya, I click through.
💯😄👌
Right, no outside contact. If anything comes out of that gorge, no one needs to know. Plus, one person can watch 24x7, so there's no way anything will slip by. Sure.

The director making every Belarusian’s dream come true in the first 10 seconds of the trailer - gold.

"Mufasa quick! Stampede in the Gorge! SIMBA'S DOWN THERE!"
Except those stampeding things in the Gorge aren't wildebeest. But they are wild beast... of terrestrial origin. 😉
I'm glad that they didn't show the entire movie, just 90% or so.
That would’ve made a cool super short movie )) curious to see the whole picture
I wish they didnt show the claw part. Would have been a perfect trailer
A cool concept for Taylor Swift's "You Belong With Me" music video in 2025
yea, we all saw this and thought of Taylor Swift, I'm sure
Who is Taylor Swift?
@@cristiano1g a maker of clothes who do his job very fast
You'd think they wouldn't have left that piece of info out on the initial briefing. "Oh... it's the gates of hell"..." oh sorry. the what now?"
What they meant is that the gates are actually a doorway!
0:12 WAS THAT A RUSSIAN ACCENT I HEARD?
@@ImmaculateOblivion Not a very good one either. Поверьте мне 😁
Does this tie in with "The Mist"?
2:20 C' Mon, the guy falls and she only has that timid "no"...
Thanks for giving away most of the plot, trailer.
That's not most of the plot.
"The world's most dangerous secret"
Yeah, two people should be more than enough to defend it. That makes complete sense.
This is going to be balls.
I read the screenplay, and in the context of the story’s fiction, it truly is the world’s most dangerous secret.
this is how you make a trailer, no spoilers!
Concept’s a little more interesting than I expected. ATJ is a big plus
You are crazy if you think im about to go NC with that view 0:51

It looks interesting, but the trailer shows too much as usual.
Thanks for showing the whole movie under 3 mins.
You already had me within the first minute of this trailer. You didn't have to show me half to movie, lol.
I really appreciate them showing us the entire movie in the trailer, saves me a couple hours
I swear this drew inspiration from SUM 1. The outposts and not being allowed to leave your outpost to talk to the other. And the "aliens."
Love that it shows them go into it at the end. That way we know we’re not being set up to watch a movie where we never actually see anything and it’s just talking the whole time.
I can't wait until Honest Trailers and Pitch Meeting get a hold of this one.
Might as well post the whole movie
