This officer is screwed, I think a jury would react strongly to the face of fear and surprise the teen had when the officer opened the door and the fact that he had food in his hand.

You can choose to be judged by a jury of your peers or by the judge. Whenever a officer is on trial they ALWAYS take the judge option. Almost like they dont like to be judged by their peers, hmm odd.
Since judges and police commonly work together, judges usually give lighter or light sentences than what a jury would deliver. Its why you hear that Officer XXX found guilty of XXX Crime and sentence is X days as opposed to years, or months.

@@sfranger031217 the judge usually sentences anyway even if they were convicted by a jury. Texas happens to be one tho

Horrifying. Hard to believe that cop was properly trained as an officer and on how to use that weapon. He shot at an unarmed, defenseless victim. What if that boy had died? That family should certainly bring charges against him. Must be great for cops working in Texas... anything goes apparently. Thanks for the analysis... really enjoy your videos!!! Cheers from up in Canada!!
