I love Will's leaves & Steve's self portrait but I think Fred has to be the winner. His representation of his dad is brilliant!

Such talent !!!! How to choose a favourite- thought Steve's self portrait was brill - Fred's 'tribute' to his dad - really touching - Suzie's horse so artistic- Overall a super talented family 👌🍊😊

The leaf and horse carved in looked amazing. Just needed to be a bit deeper so the light would shine through but they will know for this year!

Will's is my favourite as he used the same technique that I used with mine this year. I'm sure if he had had time he would have thinned the walls so the light could shine through!

It's time for the 2nd annual pumpkin carving event. I bet the contestants have given their designs for this year a lot of thought already. I look forward to seeing this year's video.

I looked down the comments and I seem to be the only one picking the "scary barn". Doors open and a fire in the barn. I thought it was quite clever.

The carving by Will & Suzie was expertly done, but my vote is for Julie because she's lovely.
Suzie's art work was wonderful, not sure where the light leaks out but perhaps it goes in! Light into darkness is a truth I can live with.
They're all winners! What a great fun video. Suzie and Will by far the best talent, but 'Steve' by Fred was the best overall pumpkin (although I've just realised he looks a bit like Iron Maidens Eddie from the Aces High cover!)

Oh man. I wanted Will’s and Suzie’s to be my tops, but they weren’t carved deep enough for the light to shine though! So I’m going to have to go with Fred’s portrait of Steve.

This is a great idea, but I felt a bit anticlimaxed at the end, especially with Will's and Suzy's. These are such talented people, I'd like to see what they could do with longer time.
I think Steve’s pretty nice old school, but Fred’s “Steve” had me laughing out loud. The Old Barn was very different, but totally worked. The bear ladies were not spooky at all 😁 and the others were beautifully carved, but no lights!

@Dominic Chinea, when you have finished with the pumpkins, put them in the local woods as they are good for wildlife to feed off, also act as a good wormer win win

They are all great. I knew Will would do some great carving, but my favourite is the spooky barn by Burv.
Steve by Fred was a clear winner for me. Fred created a classic face design with initiative. Simple and effective.
